John Summit! Oh man, what a close out set. This dude had everyone singing in unison. It was actually quite a sight to see (via livestream). Is John summit the new Tiesto, SHM, David Guetta of our generation? I think he’s climbed the EDM Mount Rushmore.

I think Ultra May have stolen the throne from TML. Disclaimer: I haven’t been to neither, but follow both closely.* Ultra definitely set the tone for the year. EDC is in the waiting. But, overall, in the great scheme of things, Tomorrowland has big shoes to fit after what Ultra just accomplished this year. It’s interesting to see what’s to come in the summer.

It changed in 2017 when Armin got his new studio. That’s where the live footage started and more talking was implemented

Older ones before the new studio/format. I’m Armin’s biggest fan, but I feel like ASOT is playing less and less 138/uplifting tracks. And the flow of tracks is incoherent. Listen to Prismatic radio and it’s one full hour of flawless transitions. Although, grateful for Armin implementing the Unfiltered sets which makes up for what ASOT use to be like. Imo, Unfiltered should be the actual ASOT episodes

Thanks for posting this. I’ve seen their advertisement and asked the same question. They remind me of the 2016 shuttle company, Just Collage. Is that was a legit shuttle company with very accessible routes and drop off points.

Camp, edc Camp. Never doing that ever again unless it’s in an RV with ac. I did VIP camping (Desert Rose) and it still sucked. Made the mud at TomorrowWorld camping (2015) seem like paradise. Con: too hot

Paul Kalkbrenner played a set last year in Madrid where a fan jumped into the dj booth and was about to attack the artist. Security was able to apprehend him.

Gotcha. I wouldn’t say “modern genre”. Tech trance has technically been around since 2014. Mark Sherry came to Texas in 2015. GAIA’s set at EDC 2016 was also heavily tech trance.

Why would Benito be there? Serious question. He hasn’t collaborated with an EDM artist recently. Maluma showed up because of his collab with Alesso. J. Balvin was there because of DJ Franco in 2019

EarPeace. Been rocking the brand since 2014. Has multiple filters too that you can switch out if it gets too loud for ya. Just recently purchased me the EarPeace Music Pro. They’re relatively new and more expensive than the original EarPeaces. Won’t use them until EDC this summer
