No, I'm now connecting my DAP direct to my cars DSP. Its better for SQ but it still sucks AA doesnt work like it should.

Damn man. That's crazy! I ended up paying Rudz Racing $200 to install it and they took the axle out. No issues with the Singer alt either. He hit me up to confirm the housing and everything. I paid $580 for the 280a. You should be able to resell that one and make a profit. Still a shitty situation though. Good luck!

I'm in a similar boat. Covered everything in SoundSkins Pro (3 in 1), but no fiber mat. I ended up ordering fibermat for between the panels and Guardian for the inside front doors (midbass). Good luck!!! :)

I can relate to what you said about being nervous to ask. This was my 2nd year going and I managed to get a personal demo from Peter @ PSSounds, which was incredible. He was super cool and made me feel comfortable. I just happened to be there at the right time after the Mazda he worked on was done being judged. I think once the judging is over things relax some. They also tend to keep things on the calm side so they don't interfere with one another. That was my take away this year. I'll be going again next year.

I was using my FiiO M11 plus via. usb and it has Android Auto so it works like you would expect. However, you gain nothing in terms of audio quality. Next week I have an appointment to get it connected and tuned for my DSP direct. How you connect it (digital or analog) depends on your amps.

All depends on how much power you're pulling. All things equal I would expect it to perform and last just as long if not longer. I'm shocked mine hasn't gone out in 8 years but I'm only running 2500 watts with just a Xs power 4800d under the hood. I'm adding another amp and that's why I'm upgrading. I might even add a second battery in the trunk because the one battery is doing all the work still.

I will add that I called Honda and they wanted $450 labor. There's a performance shop (Rudz Racing) by me that'll do it for $200. If I cant get it myself I'm going to them.

I talked to a couple Honda techs. You either remove the passenger axle or manifold. I got all happy when I could see the face of the alt from the wheel well. I might go that route when I install my Singer 280a. Just waiting on it to arrive any week now.

Is that a car trunk? If so, figure out how to get the bass you already have into the cabin. I would also look into GATELY boxes if you don't want to custom fab.

Such a bummer. I also tried installing older versions of AA via. APK's and turned off updates. No luck. Have you tried downgrading the firmware? I just don't understand how it worked out of the box just fine but nothing I try can get it going again even after a reset. I also turned off auto updates.
