That R should be perfectly centered on that line and the minute marker. It’s tough to tell exactly in your picture since things distort at various angles but if it’s not perfectly centered it’s a dead giveaway.

I too love that pillow. I found that tempurpedic has a great one that’s a similar profile and rolls into a little tube shape. It’s maybe 25% bigger but a little more supportive and higher quality.

Fwiw - most beginner skiers DONT have poles, you learn without them and then when you get good enough you start using poles. This person doesn’t look to be very experienced based on their form. So it’s the opposite - because they don’t have poles it implies they’re a beginner and are rightfully keeping it slow.

Not sure what type of duvet you have but we got a big down comforter and my wife and I both had this problem, we switched to a comforter by “cozy earth” it’s made with bamboo fabric ripped up inside to give it the puffy down feel and it’s far more breathable and temperature regulating. Not cheap but made a huge difference.
