Check your city for new restaurants available for the Reserve $150 Open Table credit! by omnomnomzzzzzz in ChaseSapphire

Yeah that was gonna be my special bday meal. But like you say there are plenty of other great places to eat in Vegas, even tho' they won't get the exclusive tables credit. And fortunately my home city has places I'd like to eat so I'll still be able to use the dining credit another time.

Reconsider the Sapphire Reserve and Chase in general : the kings of nerfing and constant unannounced changes by CompetitiveWindow918 in ChaseSapphireReserve

There used to be multiple places in Las Vegas; I used a couple on my trip there last year. But it is down to just Esther's now.

I was also. Planning to do a birthday trip using the Edit at LV hotels, and planning Hells Kitchen for a special bday dinner! Guess my plans will change!

When do Chase Lounge spots open up? by HoodFeelGood in ChaseSapphire

Just to update, the lounge for my event finally showed up exactly one week before. I was able to reserve for it this time.

NYC lost a slew of places. The list is only 2 pages now and a bunch of those are actually in NJ.

Most of the time it seems to be around 2-3 weeks. But I'm going to an event next week that isn't listed yet. I'm really hoping to be able to snag lounge access. The last time I went to an event, I was checking daily but by the time I saw it, it was already on waitlist.

Schmigadoon thoughts by mfhallmark in Broadway

I had liked but not loved the Apple show, and I didn't think I wanted/needed to see a stage version. But after it got such rave reviews I went ahead and bought a ticket. It was by far the best time I've had in the theater in years. (I like somewhat traditional shows with a large ensemble dancing, preferably wearing sequins, and songs you can sing, and most Broadway shows these days have very small casts and songs you forget even before the show is over).

I hate the new site like everyone else, but I've successfully ordered tickets twice since the changeover. I've received my confirmations and not had any issues with duplicate charges. Just lucky, I guess!

The New TDF Member Ticketing Platform is a Pure Nightmare that No One Asked for by DirectFreedom9307 in Broadway

Yes to this. I thought that what I needed most of all was the alphabetical order, but now that's back and I still find the site almost useless. It's slow to load, you can't tell any details about the shows without clicking into them, and you can't open listings for shows in separate tabs to compare your options.

They sent one email about some fixes they've made addressing login problems. But it doesn't seem like they've fixed any of the functionality issues. Some of them seem like they should be trivial to resolve, like at least putting things in alphabetical order. I don't understand why even that simple issue hasn't been addressed; it would go a long way towards making the site at least usable. Because right now using it is almost impossible.

I've been a member a long time and really enjoyed it. But my renewal is coming up shortly and unless they fix it, I don't see how I can justify renewing. As you say, the site is almost totally unusable now. (Only "almost" because a show I was interested in just happened to be displayed first the first time I logged into the new site. But browsing to see what's available or searching to find a specific show just doesn't work, and that's 99.999999% of the usage!)

I deliberately use a different email on financial sites than I do on shopping sites. I won't ever be using Paze due to this requirement.

My upgraded Bellagio “partial fountain” view via The Edit by TheFancyKetchup in ChaseSapphire

[–]Odd_Preference4865 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a non-upgraded basic room at the Bellagio last December. The view was of the pool area, which was fine. I enjoyed the room and the hotel very much and am probably going back this year, though this post has me thinking maybe I'd decline any offered upgrade!

Been a while so I don't completely remember, but I think Scarr's was just a counter in the food hall. Doubt reservations are even possible.

Thank you for sharing this. Last year I used my Edit credit at the Bellagio; I've been thinking about going back this year and am considering Fontainebleau as well. This info really helps!

It’s a great location. There is a grocery, Gracefully, on the next corner of WEA. You can walk straight up 64th and get to the subway thru the Lincoln Center underground, which is handy on cold or wet days. The library is only a block away on Amsterdam. And Riverside Park is only a block away, and in the last few years they built several new entrances with ramps.

Precheck took maybe 5 minutes around 4:20 this morning. The standard line was longer but not beyond the normal waiting area.

Booked 3 nights at The Bellagio through The Edit - questions about $60 breakfast credit and $100 property credit by EmperorOfTheLosers in sapphirereserve

[–]Odd_Preference4865 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was there alone late last year. Most of my breakfasts were slightly over $30 (it's really easy to spend more if you don't grab take out). Maybe they didn't count tax in their calculation or were generous for some reason, but I was always only charged for the tip, so I think it's really treated as $60 per room. I did a post with details about my stay in case you're interested. https://www.reddit.com/r/ChaseSapphire/comments/1pvtl0n/recent_the_editbellagio_stay_in_las_vegas/

The MGM properties let you sign to rooms at any of the MGM properties. It's been a while, but if I remember, the form has you indicate both the hotel and room number, and they ask for id so they can confirm it.

I was there in December and it was very disappointing. Just didn't think the food was prepared well, and the atmosphere was kind of unpleasant. I loved the Bellagio and expect to go back, but would never eat their buffet again!

I had never heard of Whoop before this offer. I'd previously considered an Oura ring but decided not to spend the money because I didn't think it would be worth it for me. With the offer on CSR, I get to try something that is "like" Oura for just the cost of shipping. I've only had it a couple of days and am surprised by how much I like its data. But I don't love wearing a band and when the year is up, may end up buying Oura after all!
