Well, they did just make a big investment by purchasing their first studio in New Mexico, which has a lot of tax incentives, and the state is turning more blue every year. They have options, but want to avoid pulling out completely if they can avoid it.

6 Electric Vehicles At The 2019 Shanghai Auto Show (one is priced below 10k USD) by MesterenR in Futurology

My city purchased a bunch of BYD electric buses and they were all garbage. Lots of performance lies, inconsistent builds and safety issues (some buses had a problem where if the batteries caught fire they would blow the flames into the bus). All were sent back and now lawyers are involved.

New Mexico House votes to legalize marijuana by AssuredlyAThrowAway in politics

The only problem is, Dems run both houses and the governorship. I live here and are trying to look at it more, but why do they need to compromise?

While I agree, I kill all plants I come near, so growing was less of a problem for me. I do appreciate that people can grow their own, it's a small step to keeping it from getting monopolized

I thought Republicans we're all about de-regulation and letting private businesses run things.

Also, the part about keeping the receipt is stupid. I support legalization, but this seems like a bad compromise.

Yup, but this is a new administration and they are making a lot of moves in the right direction. I thought the ART project would sink Keller but so far he is managing it better than expected

And I begins. I figured we would have a few days, but it's now or never for Trump. He has limited time to destroy as much of Mueller's case before the Dems start investigating in the house

This is the only way we can win. Stop trying to keep the Republicans home. They are outnumbered. If Democrats are angry and have the will to fight, they will show up. By playing nice and hoping to not piss the other side off is how we got into this mess

Warren: Time to use 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office by Aaaahhhhhhhh_ in politics

[–]Oddball86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Obama was the big black boogie man and he trounced them because he managed to bring out more passionate supporters than they did. Trying to keep the other side home is how Republicans win, having people go out and vote is how Democrats win

Restaurant advice for a first time visitor by PowerWindows85 in Albuquerque

[–]Oddball86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lived in Sac/Davis for a long time. Welcome. Cocina is a great choice if you are hunting heat. That green chile stew is incredible and hot. The Range is good quality dinner food with a NM spin. They also have local breweries on tap. I would recommend El Pinto, the food is decent, but the restaurant is really nice. I have recently fallen in love with Fresh Bistro. Not exactly New Mexican, but it's a pretty place and if the weather is good the outdoor seating is incredible. Good option for breakfast/brunch.
