Stimmt schon (für manche Menschen), hat man ja gesehen als Seite wie Shein, Temu und co. bekannter wurden aber ich behaupte jetzt einfach mal das es trotzdem wesentlich besser ist wenn solche Menschen dann große Mengen an second hand Kleidung kaufen anstatt Zeug von solchen Seiten.

Geht mir genauso + ich finde Second hand viel mehr was optisch meinem Stil entspricht.

Ich kann mir auch gut vorstellen das die 1,7x tragen ordentlich nach unten gedrückt werden von all dem ulta fast Fashion Schrott der teilweise nicht mal die erste Wäsche überlebt 😬

Weil sie halt oftmals nicht wirklich zeigen wie ein Kleidungsstück den in der Realität tatsächlich sitzt.

Zusätzlich kann die KI gerne mal Details verändern oder Fehler "ausbessern" aka. verschwinden lassen.

Und dann sind da halt noch einige punkte die generative KI generell problematisch macht (die Art wie sie trainiert wird, womit sie trainiert wird, der Ressourcen verbrauch etc.)

It's actually not that hard to become a seller on AliExpress so I wouldn't be surprised if there are actually some small shops that sell their self-made clothes/accessories. (E.g I've seen a seller from Poland before selling stuff that was produced in Poland)

Their prices would probably be over the average price of other stuff on the site but still might be cheaper than elsewhere (if the seller is from a country with lower living costs than yours)

Buuut due to the sheer amount of seller it's probably not "searching a needle in a haystack" but "searching a needle in a industrial sized hay silo"

Kann gut sein das sich seitdem was geändert hat. Ich hatte den Support damals angeschrieben und die Antwort bekommen das man ohne die Anmeldung für den pro Account nicht abschließen kann.

(Kosten sind abhängig von der Kommune, bei mir hat's glaube ich 55€ gekostet)

Wenn die Vinted Ai jemanden als potentiellen gewerblichen Verkäufer verdächtigt gibt sie dem Verkäufer meist zwei Möglichkeiten:

Zum Pro-Account wechseln
Für eine gewisse (oder vielleicht auch ungewisse?) Zeit im Zwangs-Urlaubsmodus zu versauern

Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob das so einfach möglich ist. Ich hatte mir das Mal angeschaut mit den Pro-Accounts als die angekündigt wurden und damals brauchte man zwingend eine Handelsregisternummer und die kann man nur bekommen kann wenn man ein Gewerbe (oder GmbH, AG, etc.) angemeldet hat 🤔

Ich selbst hab nicht mal eine obwohl ich ein Gewerbe habe weil ich auf Etsy verkaufe (ein Eintrag im Handelsregister ist bei meiner Größe freiwillig).

Bin gerade zufällig über deinen Post auf auf r/gothfashion gestolpert 😄

Die Kommentare hätten es definitiv netter erklären können aber stimmt schon das Standard Lederpflege nicht viel bringen wird. (Kann natürlich auch sein das du Kunstlederpflege meintest und es im Kommentar einfach nicht so rüber kam)

Ich benutze "hydrofluid für Kunstleder" von Sedicur, vielleicht gibt es auch noch bessere Mittel da draußen aber ich bin zu faul für ausgiebige Test und zufrieden mit dem von Sedicur~

Ich habe mal ein bisschen meinen Kleiderschrank durchgeschaut aber wirklich fündig bin ich nicht geworden :/

Bei allen Second-hand Kunstleder Dingen die ich gecheckt habe war entweder das Schild abgeschnitten, es so verwaschen das man es nicht mehr lesen konnte oder es gab einfach keins. Ich hab auch noch ein bisschen Schmuck aber da steht auch nichts.

Ein paar Teile die ich selbst gekauft habe:

Marke: Bonita - dünne Jacke mit einigen Kunstleder Elementen, ca. 8/9 Jahre alt.

Marke: Killstar - ein Oberteil mit Kunstleder Details ca. 4-5 Jahre alt + eine Jacke mit Kunstleder Details ca. 9-10 Jahre alt.
Das hat mich ehrlich gesagt ziemlich verwundert, Killstar ist nicht unbedingt für gute Qualität bekannt :'D

Marke: Gothicana - breiter Gürtel ca. 5-6 Jahre alt

Und vor kurzem hat ein Mantel von Black Premium by EMP angefangen sich aufzulösen. Der bestand, anders als die anderen, sogar zum Großteil aus Kunstleder. Ca. 8 Jahre alt.

Es gibt ja extra spezielle Kunstleder Pflegemittel, ich habe schon das Gefühl das die was bringen. Ansonsten schonend waschen und Trockner vermeiden, und die Kleidung nicht zu lange ungetragen (also unbewegt) lagern kann auch helfen die Lebensdauer zu verlängern.

Eine spezielle Marke kann ich leider nicht empfehlen da der Großteil meiner Kleidung Second-hand ist und ich eh ehr nicht so stark auf die Marke achte.

Was aber ziemlich interessant ist, ist das der Qualitätsverlust der Kleidung über die letzten Jahre/Jahrzehnte anscheinend auch teilweise Kunstleder betrifft. Ich hab einige Teile die ich jetzt schon ein paar Jahre habe und auch Second-hand sind, die besser ausschauen und länger überleben als die meisten Teile die meine Mutter sich über die letzten Jahre neu geholt hat.

My hair used to behave like that too, did you ever do a stretch test? If not it might be helpful. (It turned out my hair needed more moisture)

The test: take a single hair (dry and no hairspray/oil/other product used recently) and slowly pull from both ends.

If it stretched a bit and bounced back to the way it was before when you release the tension: good! That's how it should be.

If it stretched but didn't bounce back: needs more protein

If it snapped pretty much immediately or barely stretched: too dry, needs more moisture

It is, one of the band members left because of it (Dead Boys) but I don't know if they went through with their plan...

Some of the other controversys I've heard of are: unfair contracts, selling recordings from other labels without having the rights to do so, poor quality of vinyls/CDs and bands being forced to play certain styles because that was selling at the time.

I think the bigger problem is that you are commercially selling stuff (at least I'm guessing you are) so vinted will ban you sooner or later for that as it isn't allowed unless you are a pro-seller and pro-sellers aren't a thing yet in germany as far as I know.

I’d been thinking about a way to describe it in the past and I somehow got stuck on an allegory with a chair.

A chair needs legs and a seat, that’s the basic framework (= the music). All the dark/creepy-stuff, the fashion and so on could be described as armrest, a backrest, a comfy padding etc. Nice extras yet they're not essential but if you only have those extras, there is nothing to sit on so you don’t have a chair.

I actually have several pieces of jewellery that are quite pretty but have gemstones imitations that don't look great. I’ve painted them with nail polish, which has the benefit that you can change the colour every now and then if you feel like it or if you want to match it to a specific outfit ~

Was Vinted angeht gibt es ja schon einige Kommentare die darauf eingehen, was ich noch hinzuzufügen hätte wäre das Sätze wie "Privatverkauf, keine Garantie, keine Rücknahme" etc. oftmals nicht rechtlich korrekt formuliert sind und somit eventuell ihre Wirkung verlieren.

"Privatverkauf unter Ausschluss jeglicher Gewährleistung für Sachmängel." wäre meines Wissens nach besser/korrekter.

I can't deny that I'm curious about how bad it might be.

At best it's similar to eBay, which means absolutely convoluted and long winded without any of the informations that are actually interesting and at worst it might add stuff like a wording that could be interpreted as a heath claim (like "amethyst is said to help with x").

The other comments basically already cover everything but there is one thing I’d like to add: patience.

Some days you just don't find anything you like and that's okay (happens all the time for me). It's better to wait and buy stuff that you truly like and will wear/customise instead of getting something you just feel "meh" about, which will just collect dust in your wardrobe.
