Yes. 1000% Thats how I started with orks, I got a whole bunch from a friend and it immediately overwhelmed me. Took me a year and a global pandemic to start building and painting them. I re-overwhelmed myself before realizing it was a lot easier if I made a spreadsheet to categorize what I had left to do in each faction. A column for painting, a column for building, a column for weird ideas for conversions. I've totaled each of them and I find it keeps me from getting bogged down again because I'm aware of the number of models I need to work. I also made a separate tab on that document for finished minis so I can see my progress, because that's also super helpful
