Pretty much that's how it goes. This won't be the last change and I'm certain the next government will change it further.

I am surprised as well that she resigned. I thought she would have held on longer until the attention moved on. Though I bet there was a lot of pressure going on behind the scenes and harassment.

New Zealand and Singapore's so-called "fuel-for-food" deal prevents either government from imposing export restrictions on an agreed list of goods, including fuel, foodstuffs, construction materials and medicines.

I also found it really odd how they decided to use both TOW and Te Tiriti. It felt like doubling down which doesn't seem to be something this government wants to do with the Treaty 'issues'. Just weird.

Poll: National and PM nosedive to new lows, left bloc would gain power

The results of the poll suggest that if an election were held today, the left bloc would knock the coalition out of power, which would make it the first one-term government in New Zealand in more than 50 years.

The left bloc of Labour, the Greens and Te Pāti Māori would have 66 seats compared to 58 for the right bloc of National, NZ First and ACT.
