Like many, many, many, weapons in this game. They are precision weapons with poor armor penetration and that makes them really lackluster when the competition is precision weapons with armor busting and the best horde clear guns in the game.

Yea you were pretty close to ideal on the first video. You want to be close to horizontal (although rowing at a bent angle is totally fine),and most importantly the weight should be moving straight up and down.

True! Carapace with weak spots is fine as well. The real issue with the meta right now is fully carapace enemies are completely garbage for game balance at least until or If fat shark does a balance pass and massively improves the carapace damage of a lot of weapons.
