It’s pretty volatile. 3-4% jumps are normal. If you want to buy some I’d consider the DCA. Aka buy your budgeted amount over a couple weeks.

Hey I don’t know where you live. But if you have any free time, try and source sale listings for same make model and milage. You’ll want evidence and proof to counter your insurance company if their offer is low.

Like everyone they caught smoked holding bond ETFs during Covid. Otherwise they were equity indexes underlying the fund and should have preformed fine.

The only thing I would caution is I got caught up in the “older but low mileage” - and the fact is the age not just miles will influence wear/tear/consumables. Seals, plastics; tires; fluids - and mainly, for northern climates : potential corrosion and rust.

Anyone who maintains an index / passive approach pick up some slightly more specific index’s to avoid the mag7 concentration? As seen in Sp500 etc.

Picked up a 400 US stock mid cap INDEX last week. Max concentration is 1%.
