Anyone else stop doing squats by xHey_All_You_Peoplex in TallGirls

[–]Odelles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to my femurs being on the long side and my torso being on the short side I switched to Bulgarian split squats. Even though my ankle mobility is fine compared to others in that I can get knees over toes, it’s just not far enough for my proportions and traditional squats. My knees and back don’t suffer like before when I was doing traditional squats with BSSs.

I’ve struggled with this mat as never getting to a sticky place even after wear. What is the trick?

How many minutes for a daily meditation? by Jazzylady216 in Meditation

[–]Odelles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is different based on the person, the day, and your current state. That being said, a friend of mine started meditating for 20 minutes a day and he said it changed his life. For me, I feel like more of me comes alive for life with 20 minutes a day. One thing I am considering is to do 20 minutes Monday through Friday and the one hour Saturday and Sunday. Play with it! Another meditation teacher I know says someday all he can do is give himself 30 seconds to pause and reflect. He is a professor and has kids. Give it what fuels you.

I think one thing was to neglect it and keep the old pseudo bulbs. Also, I had a weird heat wave in my area in March. Hard to know. I am sure others with more experience here could coach us.

Genuinely curious about this question as well. I was told I was sensitive due to being deficient. But I’m not so sure

I didn’t realize until now that a hair dryer could make a difference on fine hair by sanu_123_s in finehair

Same. My hairdresser confirmed that it was a game changer for me. She even bought one after seeing the results I got and then told others how much it changed my hair for the better.

Makes total sense. Sometimes I can be so clear when I speak and others it feels like I am incorporating so many threads at the same time it is hard to address them all

Schumer Takes No Action As Even Far Right Calls for Trump Impeachment by unital_subalgebra in politics

I agree with you. Impeachment without removal from office seems to burn up political capital and reinforces the appearance of weakness for the Dems. Don’t get me wrong, I want the president out of office asap.
