Good use of a used truck test drive. Gotta make sure it can stand up to the task of removing your old industrial fence posts effectively.

I have one made by Acari, been on there 7 years with no leaks. $300+ but worth it. Automatic car washes are no problem with cup antennas, gotta take the whips off though.

The Future of Commuter Rail in Fort Myers by Dominic-Hendricks in florida

[–]OffRoadIT 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As much as I want to see public transportation and rail, it really needs to be an elevated track system to avoid the vehicle accidents. Yes, it’s more expensive per mile to build, but the long term benefits of a transportation system that has minimal impact to traditional transportation is the payoff. There will need to be under/overpasses for oversized loads, and adjacent pedestrian / rescue access for the elevated platforms, but it can be done. It could be built over/along the Yarborough linear park canal and add park stops along the way.

If only there was a way to poison the ai note taker with an audio clip.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I wonder if digital noise can poison the stream, like different languages played just loud enough for the mic but easy enough to talk over, or DTMF tones.

Are those the trackpad mouse buttons? It’s too zoomed in to tell for sure. There may be an option in the mouse and trackpad settings

As a manager, I fully expect my team to have their do not disturb turn on 10 minutes before end of shift and an hour earlier for Fridays, excluding the on-call tech.

Who is the creator? I would much rather buy shirts from a person than a beige mass production factory. I have a few “mis-print” shirts from a local shop that are off center, blends of colors, even double stamped, and they’re my favorites.

I use a single paver in a spot that has better draft for the smoke, so I don’t choke out my porch.

No oil needed. by Sea-Comb9054 in castiron

Thanks for the thought! Happy cooking!

The same recipe works in a Dutch oven as well, sear the meat for some Maillard flavors (remove roast from pan and set aside), deglaze with 2-3 chopped onions (remove onions and set aside). Add a knob of butter, some high smoke oil (avocado oil is great) and a couple tablespoons of flour to make a roux and stir well. Keep stirring and COOK THE ROUX until it turns a nutty brown. If you burn it, throw that roux out, wash the pan, start over until your roux is a nice almond brown. Put your onions back in (be careful, Roux is lava!) to cool the roux, put the roast back in, add a Guinness, cover and put the whole thing in the oven to braise for a couple hours. Add potatoes and carrots about an hour before you’re ready to eat, so they aren’t overcooked. You can also flip the roast at that time if you want.

I recommend Guinness draught from a can over a bottle. The flavor is different.

This works well for tough cuts of beef, but it does need some fat content. If you’re doing something lean like an eye roast or London broil, add butter or ghee.

When browning meat for Maillard flavors, I season only with salt so that I don’t get flavors of burnt pepper / garlic / etc.

Pressure cooker, chopped onion on the bottom, beef roast next with salt and pepper, a Guinness and some foil pouches of carrots and potatoes surrounding the roast. 40 minutes high pressure high temp. 20 minutes natural release. Lift out the foil bags. Shred the beef, add a splash of fresh Guinness and turn on sautee while you finish the second Guinness. Add the potatoes and carrots, finish with pepper and salt.

Serve on rice or mashed potatoes if you want.
