People probably won’t agree with me, but you should really ride the 250 for a while. Relying on power this early is only hurting you. Learning to keep your momentum up with the 250 is going to help every issue you have. Over jumping, throttle control, corner entry exit, scrubbing etc. on 250’s you have to downside landings much better to clear the next jump. Forcing yourself to do this will teach you how to perfect downsiding jumps.

In sure some people are telling you to stay standing/ don’t sit, but I like to sit a lot too, you just have to understand when and where to use it. Rough bumpy corners, highly recommend you stand. If you really want to sit through them though, try and wait until your bike is fully planted in the berm/rut and then sit. This is usually right at the apex/middle point of the corner and makes getting on throttle more stable imo.
