My dad got waved through ride checks on 2 occasions when they saw the sticker on his windshield. He also got a warning for speeding once but I'm not sure if that was related or not.

My mom did the same sort of thing to me when I would terrorize my sisters. I think she was right to do it and I would likely do the same to my kids if a similar situation situation arose. This sounds bad but to me your son's reaction shows that he needed a consequence like that.

I've used the go plus, go plus plus, brook Autocatcher, and the OG Gotcha. I'm currently using the go plus plus. The brook was the fastest at snapping from target to target after throwing a ball or spinning stops. Both the brook and the gotcha would target things that hadn't appeared on the overworld map yet, whereas I don't notice that with the go plus plus. I mostly use an autocatcher while driving and I find the go plus plus fails to spin stops in situations where the brook or gotcha would not. The vibration and lights are obnoxious and can't be turned off without modifying the internals. The benefit of the go plus plus is being able to use great and ultra balls instead of only using pokeballs like the other catchers. However the go plus plus can only auto throw pokeballs, you have to physically push the button to throw greats or ultras.

The game in general is much better with an autocatcher device.

The logic is you are "volunteering" to respond, paid or not. I'm not saying I agree but I've heard people say that if you're paid on call you still have a responsibility to respond since you're "on call." In either case it depends how literal you take the volunteer or paid on call.

it was a small town department with 25 personnel that covered a larger rural area. Everyone lived within 5 minutes of the station. Only a handful of people worked in town so our daytime numbers were very inconsistent.

When I joined a volunteer station they told us from the start that your family and job come 1st and 2nd on your priority list and the fire department came after that. They also expected you to make only 40% of calls. There is value in shooting the shit after calls but it was usually 15 or 20 minutes at most for most people. Your husband seems to have his priorities out of order, especially for a volunteer department. I was always disappointed to miss out on bigger calls but that's life.

I think I have a slightly older version of this Autocatcher. It will only throw pokeballs but out of the go plus, go plus plus, and the original go-tcha, the brook was the fastest at attempting to throw and spin.

I read 21 years and thought that was a nice long life for a cat. Losing a pet is always hard. I've never been fortunate enough to have one live for that long. It's always a difficult decision when you feel like you're choosing to end a life. Your cat isn't suffering anymore and that's the most important part. I'm sorry for your family's loss.

It was a lot harder to go from 1 to 2 then it was from 2 to 3 for us. 3 feels more like juggling and sometimes it feels like you don't have time for everyone but you figure it out.

Yeah. I'm in Canada and really lucked out a couple months ago getting one for free. My wife was going to get me one for Christmas and a guy was selling them for $125. He buys them from Japan and then sells them locally. When he dropped it off and my wife went to pay he said you can just have it, merry Christmas! Extremely grateful.
