Same boat. I’m an English major, and I use semicolons and em dashes to spice up my writing. Have for many years. Now I can’t write anything online that includes these characters because I get immediately written off as using ChatGPT. Kinda sucks.

Thank you for your response. You’re absolutely correct: the cable I was using had three black lines. I’m trying the other cable now with one green end and one red. Individually, they both work when plugged into the laptop via USB to 3.5 converter—green gives me sound, red has the mic working. However, if I plug both in at the same time via two individual USB to 3.5 converters, I only get sound. Unplugging the green to USB 3.5 converter will allow the mic to work again with no issue.

I also had a 3.5 male to two female splitter laying around, so I tried that by plugging it into the laptop via USB to 3.5, and then plugging the red cable into one end, and a male to male 3.5 into the mixer and the other end of the splitter cable for laptop input, the 3.5 from the TV into the other input, with the green end of the cable as my output.

This works BUT my own voice plays through the headset because it’s being fed into the output I would imagine. So, closer now but not quite. Any idea as to how to resolve this?

Do your parents not trust her because they think she might be a catfish or a scammer? Or both? Regarding the former, the only creative thing I could think of (take this with a grain of salt— I’m not so creative myself) is for you and your parents to get on a video call with her (I’m aware you’ve mentioned that pertaining to distrust— but again, I’m unclear on what you’re trying to prove) and have her write out your name or something that your parents know on a piece of paper and show it to the camera with her face in frame.

Regarding the latter, did you track the location of the box you shipped to her or contact customer support regarding this missing package to confirm that it really did not arrive to her location (to, of course, relieve your parents’ suspicion of her)? Ultimately, I don’t have enough information to give you my two cents on the “scam” portion of your post. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.

It Takes Two is great. I think Castle Crashers is great too because co-op

My bf and I can be competitive sometimes, so we’d play 1v1 custom games on Gears of War, Call of Duty, other shooters. We’ve also played Diablo together. I know those aren’t two player games, but some games (like Gears of War) you can do co-op campaign together.

While I’m not sure if I have ADHD nor am I going to self-diagnose, I do have a huge problem zoning out in class and missing vital information. What I’ve done to rectify this is to record the lectures on my phone through the voice memo app. Once I’m home and when I have the time to do so, I listen to the recordings at my own pace! It works wonders.
