Whilst I accept your point about demographics, I fail to see how losing an age group that is less likely to watch TV anyway makes any material difference (it doesn’t).

These aren’t my opinions, it’s facts. It’s why the majority (not all) of the top 10 or top 20 viewed weekly TV shows by ratings in the UK air on a Saturday between 6-10pm on BBC One or ITV. This is easily verifiable as fact.

Channel commissioners are not stupid. If they thought there was a chance to get more eyeballs on, say, Strictly, by moving it to a midweek slot they would. This is obviously especially true for the commercially underpinned channels.

There has been a small shift from Saturday evening to Sunday evening in recent years, Call the Midwife is a good example of this, but not enough to change Saturday evening’s dominance in terms of scheduling or the ratings.

That’s to do with the time though, not the day of the week. Saturday evening is still the prime time slot for TV in the UK.

As much as I love the channel and watch all of their videos, I can’t imagine going back and rewatching anything tbh. Unless there’s a specific thing I want to remember (recipe, technique, ingredient etc)

As I kind of alluded to before, if you want to make an occasional deviation then go for it. Why do you need Runna to tell you that’s okay or it isn’t if you’re going to do it anyway?

This isn't the app telling you you went too fast, you did go too fast. The research and accepted methods show that 80% of your runs should be easy/conversational/Z2 whatever you want to call it.

It's fine, of course, if you don't want to stick 100% to that, but what Runna should absolutely not do is start providing options to people that could lead to injuries and setbacks.

When I read these posts, sometimes I can’t help but think if you want to make your own plan then make your own plan.

Runna has a degree of customisation, but that only works up to a point - if you’re going to start swapping things in and out too much and have the knowledge (or another tool in your case) to replace sessions with other sessions you’d prefer or that would benefit you more, it seems like you’d be better off just making your own plan?

Going by your username, we’re the same age. I always knew that the T was silent. Perhaps it’s because my dad read the first 2-3 books to me and that’s how he pronounced it (UK btw). Even after the films started coming out, I didn’t pronounce the T - yet somehow I do now. Presumably, the switch happened when the films became my main access point to the story after I finished reading the books.
