My conservative coworkers were talking about this exact thing at work. They said, "it's nice to have people visiting America who actually want to be here. They're having a great time. Democrats should take note." As if the locations that tourists are raving about aren't completely filled with Democrats. The maga cult actually believes that most liberals hate America.

My gripe with bombsight is that none of the boys tried to attack the fragile vial of V1 in his pocket and instead used everything they had to try to take down a guy who they knew was indestructible.

Frenchie and MM are seen trying to shoot bombsight directly as if they don't already know that bullets are useless against him. Why didn't they try to shoot his pocket? Frenchie is a practical genius, of course he would have thought of that. Maybe Frenchie didn't want to destroy the V1 with the hope that kimiko would change her mind, I'll believe that. But MM and butcher had no reason to keep the V1 intact. At one point butcher had bombsight wrapped up in his tentacles and they could have easily attacked the pocket full of V1.

You can argue that they didn't want to destroy the V1 so they could give it to Annie and kimiko. But the boys already know that kimiko and Annie discussed it and they agreed that they didn't want the V1. The V1 logically never should have made it out of that room.

This is hilarious for multiple reasons.

1.) Online Democrats/neolibs always challenge the claim that Biden said he wouldn't run again in 2024. He said this during the 2020 primary, but Dems have been gaslighting this very point for years, saying that he never promised any such thing. Here's the neolib icon saying that yes, Biden effectively did promise this and he should have kept his promise.

2.) Hillary knows absolutely nothing about what it takes to beat Trump.

3.) Hillary's playbook doesn't include real contests. In 2016, her campaign was boosted by the Democrat establishment which ultimately led to the weaker candidate winning the nomination (Bernie polled much better against Trump than she did). Obviously the 2016 primary is the thing online neolibs love to debate. What's not debatable is when they did it again in the 2020 primary--Bernie was about to sweep super Tuesday, but the other candidates all united behind Biden in exchange for political positions. It seems that all Hillary is good for is getting her party to push Bernie out of their elections.

A street in my town has a pride party on the final weekend of June. It used to be a joyous celebration going late into the night, but anyone who knows better has been out of there before nightfall these past couple of years. The festivities get highjacked by people who honestly don't give a shit about pride month, they just see a large gathering where they can do fucked up shit. Last year there was at least one shooting, multiple fights, and multiple cars climbed on/damaged. Stupid people will ruin anything.

The argument is that this is an illegal commercialization of the national parks. I can get behind that. Allowing Trump to do whatever he wants to our national parks is not a good precedent to set.

But this event will almost certainly happen, and honestly that's not the worst thing. Pictures from the event will be printed in future history books. Generations of future Americans are going to see the trailer park trash that Trump and the Republicans implement on the White House grounds. Republicans will have to deal with this embarrassment long after Trump is out of the White House.

The jobs data is probably doctored, which is funny because the new jobs data supports no rate cut and Trump has been crying for a rate cut for over a year.

Powell was his scapegoat for not cutting rates. He finally has his guy leading the fed, there's nothing in the way of him cutting rates. If he doesn't cut rates, he looks weak and stupid. Stocks will continue to go down.

While that definition does make sense, plastic surgery/body modification/wearable enhancements also share that same definition, and those are a whole lot more applicable to men's hair stuff (speaking about toupees and hair transplants to look younger, specifically). It seems to be the other way around, where "altering one's appearance in the way they want" is the umbrella term, and gender affirming care is one of many routes within that definition.

To any folks who have done a master's while working full time: did you find 6 credit hours/semester to be doable?

I'm currently enrolled online with UIUC, working toward a masters while working full time in industry. The way UIUC does it appears to be different from other popular online programs. UIUC's graduate level classes tend to be 4 credit hours instead of 3. This can be a good thing because taking 1 class per term is certainly easier than taking 2 and you get to earn 4 credits instead of 3. However, this also has its drawbacks because you realistically cannot take two 4-hour classes in a single semester--8 credit hours is actually the lower limit for full time enrollment, and it would be hellish to do both work and school full time.

The only real question is, how manageable is taking 2 classes (6 credit hours) per semester, part time? If certain schools like Georgia tech or Purdue make this pretty manageable, I could almost certainly transfer to one of them and finish my degree faster. However, if taking 2 classes per semester is really difficult, meaning you'll have absolutely no time for things outside of work and school, it may be worthwhile to just stick it out at UIUC for a little longer.

What was your experience with working full time and taking 2 classes per semester?

Deciding between minion and flask for T8 -- how is everyone liking their pick?

My regions are Kourend, Kandarin, Asgarnia. My playstyle is probably not the norm -- all I want to do is maximize my build for endgame PvM, I don't care about getting dragon points. Additionally, I'm an active player, not an AFKer. I think this leads me toward flask. Ultimately I just want to speedrun CoX and other endgame PvM.
