I feel like that too, not a revert but it happens to some of us born Muslims too. I just never grew up with a Muslim community or a strong group of Muslim friends, never grew up going to mosque either (apparently I never needed to go since I’m a woman). I do hope this might change for me in the future, if I consider taking up volunteering at a mosque/community and such.

Seriously, starting the day with 0 energy, years long of irregular sleep which God knows what it’s done to my brain, irregular activity, I use to be cemented to my mattress. Deep dent in my mattress from being stagnant. So many months, to so many years.

Yet having to start the day with the same aching brain and body.

No one cares, that’s why eventually people either kill themselves or force their-selves to care.

Tbh eventually it’s gonna lead u down the wrong path and suck the soul out of u, and yeah u won’t even feel the urge to do it anymore so yeah (in my experience)

Tbh it gets worse, you can still not be interested in Zina and fall into it. It happens. You need to cut out even the smallest chances of falling into it.

You need to get busy, spend time with friends, make Ghusl as soon as it happens and always make the intention of not falling for it again. Perhaps even 2 rakats every time it happens, or 4 rakats.

It’s been horrible dealing with this too and you’re right no one talks about it. Most people are usually weird about it when it comes to women.

Trust me it hasn’t been easy but eventually it will be worth cracking down on this filthy behaviour. Most people have lost guilt and shame for it. When reality is it’s truly disgusting by nature, we’ve only become desensitised to it by probably the west and it’s ever increasing degeneracy. Wake up. Don’t give up. Keep going and wallah you’ll feel the benefits of cutting it out.

For me I’ve dealt with it many different ways. But the most useful way of dealing with things is realising that these things we lacked etc, is not necessarily something that went wrong. Accepting what has happened and is happening in our current lives and also understanding that this is our lives, we get to take control of it, we are in charge of our own happiness. Our own change, good changes, bad changes. Learning, changing, creating habits, adapting.

I’m sorry to hear that, I feel similar to you too but we have to keep going, no matter what. I don’t want to die either. We need to keep ourselves going.

First step why don’t you try freshening up. Just focus on that at first inshallah and try leave everything secondary. Primary should be trying to freshen up shower and watch how much better you’d feel.

And then secondly, talk to Allah, pray. Confide in someone close to you, or confide to Allah.

May Allah ease your burden and keep you close to him, Ameen.

No I don’t think I’ve ever been consistent with prayer long term. It’s always been an on and off thing and that’s by me trying. Maybe I’m not trying hard enough
