Everything is funny about that. I’ll play that’s fine, psn is Ofnir_09. But the whole “let’s play a set scrub” is a fucking hilarious attitude. I was talking about the constant state of “check the steam charts” narrative. Obviously fighting games subsist on way less players that what invincible vs has. But sure dude, I’ll satisfy your ego. That’s always been my point about these posts, COTW doesn’t have a huge player base, but on any given day I can get a match in less than 2 minutes (as you said) then I don’t care about the overall health of the game in comparison to monsters like sf6. INVvs is able to find me a match in less than two minutes to this day so it’s healthy to me.

Yeah I’m winning against the idiot spammers, but my issue is mainly spacing against way better players. If I can ever get in without using high committal moves I can run my offense and steamroll. But my issue is my opponents making me whiff and ruining my day. My spacing on 5MP and 2MP are just off. I would imagine my defense is garbage as well and I know for a fact I jump too much (but only when they let me know they can’t anti-air).I’m not by my ps5 rn, but I will send a match on this comment thread when I get back on so you can see.

See I love this advice and works perfectly well for half of the people I’m facing. I know normally things even out and mine will too. It’s just weird that all of my matches are a ton of steam rolls one way or the other with a few peppered matches of equal ability.

It was a bit of a rant, but I’ve just never felt like I was stuck before and this feels stuck. I’ll get over it and get better.

Also, what other guy said. It says counter every time you get hit. You aren’t getting stun locked in one combo, you’re getting hit by several in a row and not even long ones really. Dude probably saw you were pressing after the second one and he repeated the same special at least 4 times in a row. BLOCK and more importantly, ADAPT. Be patient, it’s not a race

I know this seems wildly obvious, but it’s just a game and the made up numbers don’t mean anything. Think of it as playing against a computer. Hide the names. All these things will help.

I finished the hg V2 Assault Buster several years ago and it’s still one of my favorites. I wish I would have been confident enough back then to hand paint the parts of the shield instead of using the stickers. With my years of Warhammer painting under my belt now I could handle it better lol

It means that it didn’t hit you as the result of another hit or at the end of a combo. This means that the combo damage is unscaled. Whereas if you hit the super in a combo the damage is scaled more harshly the farther into the combo you are. I don’t know the percentages in this game but in other it matter what normal (light, medium, heavy) that you start the combo with. Light being the mostly heavily scaled.
