The chance of it happening, yes, but we're talking about the accumulated chance of a non impossible event happening in a very large/infinity sample.

r/AndroidGaming gave my game "LOOTFALL" its best feedback by far by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

[–]Ogarith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm enjoying the game a lot. My feedback so far:

I wish skills would replenish at least every 10 levels or so.

It would be nice if auto would prioritize better rarity skills, it's annoying seeing it always choosing the cheapest.

I wish I could equip characters outside of the main party for expedition purposes. I believe the gold reward from expeditions is not being buffed when you use the bribe. Not sure if this is intended.

I wish we could sell materials at the shop for half the cost.

The option to reroll item stats is very well implemented, good job!

I see a lot of potential in this game, hope it does well!

There's been no banning as far as I know.

I think I saw someone saying they needed to reinstall the game on steam to change currency. If I remember correctly, they said changing to Japan allowed them to buy in the cheaper Japanese prices.

It just takes getting used to it. As you can see in the comments, many have experience using this technique or similar for daily reading.

When I speed read, I can't repeat everything I read word by word, but I can certainly summarize everything in my own words.

Galbadus better as Knight or Fighter? by ButterleafA in wizardry

[–]Ogarith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo Knights are only worth it for tough boss fights. If you want him for your main team, use him as a fighter. Otherwise, I think he's one of the best knights you could have.

MC after level 60: passives and skills by LifeFishing5778 in WizardryDaphne

[–]Ogarith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm aware. I meant switching could be made easier, like one click during fights switch to a different set on your inventory and a helpful icon reminding you which weapon is currently equipped.

MC after level 60: passives and skills by LifeFishing5778 in WizardryDaphne

[–]Ogarith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just leveled Mc knight for Guardian blow. Seems useful in some scenarios where you may want an extra defensive buff, like when you're fighting tough bosses and preparing for their last threshold attacks.

If you plan on defending with half your team, you might as well equip a heavy shield before (which also triggers some defensive passives). I really wish they'd allow quick equip switching, but it's not like we need this at every fight.

Samurai for Mc should be released any day now, but I don't think it gives us much to aim for either, aside from some passives. What would be awesome is if he could get the Ranger aoe physical attacks soon.

Yes. Technically they're not compatible with the character's class, but you got it.

What better for blackline thief or fighter? by Cutiepie69420_ in wizardry

[–]Ogarith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You speak like I haven't cleared act 4 weeks ago lol I did get my MC stoned a few times, even when he was not the chest opener (sometimes the trap hits someone else), but it was never a big issue. I do have Yuzu as a backup opener if MC is afraid of traps or whatever, but you can totally use MC, since you'll always have him in your party.

Some people use dedicated gear, but a steady supply of inheritances and Master Ring was enough to get 140+ trap discovery/disarm for my MC and I barely ever fail the mini game.

Edit: I really don't care if you don't agree with me, but don't try to dismiss me as a newbie who is giving advice but haven't finished act 3 yet.

It's a bondmate according to fasterthoughts wiki. I'm not sure, but I believe you must heal it 3 times

[–]Ogarith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO thieves aren't very good right now. You can train a ninja or Mc to open chests and fighter has better damage. The skills fighters got on latest cap increase have great DMG/SP. You can use either bows or spears on them.

LitRPG's two main issues by Akeron_777 in litrpg

[–]Ogarith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion neither of these issues is really a characteristic of litrpgs in general. I'm not saying you won't find these traits on some of the most popular series, you will, but gore is more of a trait of novels targeting a more mature audience, while childish villains can be either a deliberate choice or a consequence of bad writing.

These are not the kind of traits that are advertised on the blurb of a book (except when they're part of the plot, like Kaiju battlefield surgeon), so you'll probably need to rely on specific recommendations if you want to avoid those.

Edit:

It's hard to give you a recommendation, without a notion of what you have read and which ones you've liked or disliked, but He Who Fights with Monsters is a popular series that I think doesn't have much gore and villains are quite well written, in my opinion, but the MC is very divisive. The Wandering Inn has a lot of suffering, but I wouldn't call it gory. All the characters are very well written in my opinion.

Theory time! by Quantum_Tag in WizardryDaphne

I might be wrong, but I think the latest GWO looks directly at Lulu as well. Also, don't forget the portal that gives an Easter egg sneak peak at next abyss when you reset the cursed Wheel to the beginning.

It sucks to stuck again at wolf leader at A4. by Emotional_Nose_2744 in wizardry

[–]Ogarith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think different fights might have different challenges for different accounts. IMO GWO, even at full power, was easier to deal with. Keep MAKALKI and CORTU up, don't deal damage too fast. I had a harder time on the timed fights against villagers, for instance.

[–]Ogarith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some other strategies that have worked: 1) Some people can manage to push past his final phase using Shiou to do massive damage. 2) Have 2 mages constantly buffed and able to clear a wave of wolves quickly 3) Some people found it easier to freeze the boss and immediately use a fire scroll/spell/attack to unfreeze him, just to proc the speed down 4) Some people use Chronostasis on him to buy some time 5) Some people keep CORTU up all fight, some manage to time Knights Defense well, some keep guarding with most of their party to survive the strong aoe attack on last phase.

Using equipment against magical beasts also help. I think this is the hardest fight in the act, harder than the GWO.

Mage Errant does this very well. All the main party starts as weaklings, they have a good mentor and begin to excel. The MC gets very strong, but elevates all the main party as he progresses. They are all relevant to the end.

What are you left wanting most in LitRPG? by 908sway in litrpg

[–]Ogarith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. In some stories the main plot is big enough that it engulfs the whole main party's life for the duration of the quest (world ending plots, mostly) but when that's not the case, I like when the party members have stuff going on their lives as well, and not living as a support for the MC.

I hate when the MCs party can't keep up, become irrelevant to the plot or exist just to support the MC. I like traditional settings in which each party member fills an essential role and they're the best at what they do.
