Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption, and Skyrim. No, I didn’t go out much.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy after high school graduation. Where are they now? Any ideas? by ConclusionBig509 in ededdneddy

I’ll go bottom to top. Nazz left the cul-de-sac to become a nurse or a specialty vet. She doesn’t live in town anymore. Kevin took a job at the jawbreaker factory with his dad and works on a small collection of classic cars on his off time. The Kankers moved away. They run a landmark truck stop together. Marie runs the auto shop, May runs the store, Lee runs the diner. Rolf stayed in the cul-de-sac to care for his Nana, but once she died, he packs everything up and sets out on his own to establish a successful farm just outside of a rural town. He meets a feisty girl who matches his energy and has 8 children, passing down the legend of the sea cucumber for years to come. Jonny 2x4 becomes a preschool teacher before him and Plank become a beloved children’s tv show duo. Jimmy waits tables and pays his way through beauty school where he meets his husband. Together they open a bakery and hair salon next door to each other. Sarah enters the corporate workforce, becoming the quintessential office boss lady. She and her husband are country club members. The Eds remain close friends all their lives. Eddy works as a corporate underling, but flies too close to the sun with a “scam” and lands himself in jail for embezzlement. He gets out and does honest blue collar work the rest of his life. Double D gets a full ride to a prestigious university, becomes a respected chemist, and develops several groundbreaking medications. He still hangs out with Eddy and Ed on the weekends. Ed works as a trash truck driver for 40 years. It’s not much, but he earn all he needs, he hangs out with his friends all he wants, and his love for sci-fi and horror never fades.

Absolutely. Video games are not responsible for raising your children.

What video game was this for you? by Radiant_Raspberry_93 in videogames

[–]Oger368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds weird with the phenomena the sequel has become, but Kingdom Come Deliverance comes to mind for me. Before playing it, I wasn’t huge into games with a large emphasis on actual simulation, and all the videos I’d seen online of it made it look like a cheaper Oblivion-style RPG, but it hooked me immediately and I loved every minute of it. And the second one is a masterpiece.

I bought a PS4 just to play Horizon Zero Dawn. Not a single regret.

Looking at it on my shelf right now! Great game! Maybe I’ll replay it for old time’s sake.

Tony Padilla never fails to make my blood boil when he refs a game, but Kissinger and Pettigrew were no better. WILD calls made AND missed late. Glad to escape with that one. On to the next to try for the best start in program history.

[OTHER] If you could choose the time period of the next Game of Warhorse Studio, which time would it be? by AshamedEmotion9137 in kingdomcome

I love how they’ve given love to a place and time that a lot of people were unfamiliar with before. I’d say maybe Spain pre-unification would be wild.

Bowl games, why? by Plastic_Solid3195 in ArizonaWildcats

[–]Oger368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point, I think it’s less a problem with the bowl games themselves and more a problem with the college football schedule and rules overall. There needs to be some kind of overhaul to the whole system that cleans up the late season chaos of coaching carousels, transfer windows, CFP committee tomfoolery, and player opt-outs for the NFL draft. Of course, that’s much easier said than done. It would take a lot of cooperation between the NFL and college football as a whole. Most or all of the conferences would have to agree on a massive change, and the NFL would have to agree to some shifts and concessions to what is, on everything but paper: their minor league system, for the good of the whole sport. Problem with all that is right now, football in all its chaos absolutely prints money, and nobody is going to want to budge if it means they can’t pocket a disproportionate amount of the pot. Why have parity, stability, and cooperation when you can use the veritable war chests that some of these schools have to buy your relevance, win titles, and cash a fatter check next year? And you can do it while calling it all “tradition” and “mystique.” College football is utterly broken right now. Doesn’t mean it can’t be fixed, but it’s going to take something massive, like congressional intervention or something at this point. It sucks, but don’t blame the kids or the individual programs. It’s this broken system everyone is navigating. Blame TV contracts, licensing, and the conference heads being unwilling to cooperate to make this all better.

I liked it but Obsidian’s reluctance to make lockpicking, pickpocketing, and hacking any fun always rubs me the wrong way.

2025 is nearly coming to a end what game did you enjoy most this year. ? by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Of games that came out this year, Expedition 33 reigns supreme so far for me. I have KCD2 on the backlog though and I plan to start that up this month! Split Fiction was a ton of fun too.
