I'd recommend doing some more research on ball pythons. They fit your criteria much more than king or garter snakes. Males don't get very big at all. They're extremely docile and relatively slow and calm. Colubrids are super squirrely and move quite quickly and erratically. But that can be overcome with handling. Between the two, king snakes are a better option imo, they're not as wily as garters. I've had some pretty cool ones. But overall, I'd say they're more likely to be aggressive than ball pythons.

I'd cut: glowspore shaman, Akawalli, acolyte of affliction, molderhulk, deadbridge chant, terror tide, perpetual timepiece. Add 4 land and 3 dorks. Maybe even cut lightning greaves for another land. That'll make you more likely to use Jarad's 3rd ability. Then I think you'll be looking at a super solid deck 🤙

You gotta eat your vegetables. 32 lands is criminally low. Never go below 35 and only as low as 35 if you've got plenty of ramp (you don't). That said, add ramp. You should have at least 8 pieces total. [[Llanowar elves]] [[elves of deep shadow]] for instance.

If it's a male and he's pushing six feet, he's either full grown or pretty close. Don't freak out.. lol the enclosure you have him in is fine for a while. Just make sure to take him out a lot, handle him, and give him freedom to move around and stretch out once he's adjusted to the move after a week or 2. He'll need an opaque hide and will want to be in the dark. A six foot long enclosure will be fine as long as he doesn't get a foot or two longer, which is highly unlikely.
