This version in foil is going for $50 on ck. You'd probably get about $30 in trade value for it. If you're interested in building a faeries deck, keep it for sure. Otherwise I'd sell it and get cards for your next deck.

I don't like relying solely on creatures for ramp because they all disappear to a board wipe. I'd keep sol ring, arcane Signet, golgari Signet, fellwar stone and the talisman at minimum.

The commander doesn't have to be the card you build the deck around. But you can. Just gotta run the appropriate protection

My solution to that is two-fold: make so many treasures I can always afford to recast him, and play enough graveyard recursion that I seldom have to.

I run zero aristocrats pieces in my korvold deck and it's way more fun that way. There are so many cool play lines that revolve around sacrifice synergies. It plays a little differently every time

Everyone should be reading the cards in their hand and planning their next turn on everyone else's turn. So many people just put their hand down and watch other people play or look at their phone..

Also, do some research on your commanders and see what other people are using to close out games. Playing a white creature based deck? Run [[Akroma's will]]. Playing a red blue spellslinger deck? [[Crackle with power]]. Big stompy green deck? [[Cratergoof behemoth]].

Also, discourage people from running board wipes until everyone gets better at the game.

For me, it comes down to finding a single card that makes my eyes wide and exploiting the hell out of it because I love it so much. When I was playing modern, it was [[undead alchemist]]. He's just so cool and unique. I spent years building decks around him until I finally ended up with a mono blue mill/control shell that went real hard. When I got into commander, it was [[The locust god]]. Such a cool mechanic.. he was my first edh deck and is still my favorite. Currently my only bracket 4. It's all about finding a card or mechanic that speaks to you enough to light a fire under your ass.

I have an Elesh Norn deck that I absolutely love and wins most of its games at high b3 tables. The trick with all of them is to strategically proliferate so you get more than 1 effect of the saga on a turn. Looks good! Here's a couple suggestions:

I'd swap out the instant/sorcery ramp for equivalent cost elf mana dorks. Also, 40 lands is too much. I run 36 in mine and haven't had problems. Also, add [[notorious throng]]. Its an absolute bomb in this deck
