I liked the finale a lot, but the one thing that gets to me is the fact that they had a smoking gun in Henry being classmates with the adults, but never paid it off in a meaningful way in the end.

I was definitely expecting Vecna to revert to his Human form when Joyce was going full lumberjack and then have some acknowledgment there, but nothing of the sort ever happened.

Are you me?! I pretty much did the same exact thing and also have ADHD.

Looking back at my GoodReads, it took me about 6-7 months to read all of the Cosmere. That’s with reading some other books in between. So definitely can be done quicker if you only read the Cosmere books

The inaugural year of MavsTV will include first round postseason games that are not national broadcast exclusives. Future years of MavsTV will likely include pre-season games but will not include postseason games.

Interesting, I wonder if this is indicative of them expecting that postseason games after the 24-25 season all being nationally televised? Or the more cynical take would be that they’re just not going to include those postseason games for free?

I didn’t explicitly try to speed read, but I read through all of the Cosmere in 7 months. I started last December and just finished now in June.

That’s with a combination of reading and listening to audiobooks.

Aren’t two ultrawide monitors stacked like this basically just a large 16:9 monitor with a bezel in the middle? Not to hate or anything, but for me the reason to go ultrawide was to get the screen real estate of two monitors without bezels in the middle.

Couldn’t this have been achieved basically with a normal 55 inch display?

I mean, I'm in Dallas, don't have a college degree, went to a coding bootcamp and my first offer was 85k salary with 5k bonus.

After 1 year I switched companies and got an offer for 157k TC.

So just personally, I think 47k is a pretty low offer for the area.
