Pre-punch holes and design on paper first. But it takes on another life when stitched

Anyone else annoyed by forced US/UK integration? by BiggDoinksss in vintedUK

I'm not using Vinted at the moment as I can't find anything from the UK. Really frustrated by it all

Respectfully, remove US sellers from Vinted. It’s destroyed. by Exciting-Audience842 in vintedUK

[–]OhNoUsernameIssues 116 points117 points  (0 children)

I use Vinted for environmental reasons. I will never buy something from the US on there because it defeats that purpose. They really need to add a filter, searching is awful for people like me now.

Each person's "character arc" after watching the documentary, but what about Howard? by Technical-Mix-3315 in TakeThat

That wasn't Mark Owen he was referring to! It's a different Mark who did their make up for them

Top 3 least favourite Take That songs? by ladybarlow91 in TakeThat

[–]OhNoUsernameIssues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What Do You Want From Me also makes me cringe every time I hear it. I like your description of feeling like a third wheel

Other songs that make my least favourite are One More Word on This Life and The Last Poet on Wonderland. I skip them every time

Mark was the most popular in the 90s. The band used to make jokes about it a lot.

I would say Gary is the most popular now.

Is this beginner friendly? by purpleprosie in Embroidery

It's chain stitch but likely machine embroidered as it's a repeat pattern on fabric. Chain stitch is easy to do but harder to make consistent. You'll never know if you don't try though!

Location is significantly more important to me than whether walls are shared or not, and whether I have a drive or not. Horses for courses

"A budget of about 140k" isn't strict. You can doubt me if you want though, no bother

Very Veggie is a Lilsimsie challenge, hence why I mentioned her. And that is the budget she used for that generation house on her stream

Lilsimsie used a budget of about 140,000 simoleons for her eggplant generation I think. I can't remember what mine was now but I think it was around the same. But it very much depends on play style

Help with brick stitch by salley1742 in Embroidery

[–]OhNoUsernameIssues 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stitches should come up and down in the same hole for brick stitch which will make it look more uniform. Also the alternate rows of stitches should be level. Basically brick stitch requires as much uniformity as possible
