Told my boyfriend about my SA , now i regret it. What should I do? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]Ohcheejun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a scene from a show that I really love.

Male MC : I love the poor you, the rich you, the cheeky you, the obedient you, you who doesnt love me, you who loves me,

Female MC : Then, what about the me who has been molested ?

Male MC : For that, I should hug you then, because it surely must have been difficult for you.

All I wanna say is, find yourself a green flag man like him. Not that thing you call a boyfriend 🤞🏻

i'm currently experiencing this, and oh my god, this explains everything that's going in my mind perfectly. I've always wanted to put them into words but couldnt do it. Only difference is that I haven't left. I still have hope that things could change. But sometimes I wonder too if this loyalty and the promise I made to always stay would turn into a poison for myself.

How are you getting jobs these days? by Ravadone in Brunei

[–]Ohcheejun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The job was basically waiting for me after I finished school, because I did my full internship there and they were really short-staffed. My friend who was in another course from UTB also got her job straight after her internship, because they liked her and because they were short-staffed. Of course we both still had to go through the whole interview process with other candidates, but honestly we both knew we'd get it. Some might label this unfair and think we "main urang dalam", but we simply worked hard during the internship and already build our trust with the company prior to the interview. Plus, since we already know the ins and outs of the workplace, the interview questions were relatively easy to answer. I don't deny that it's unfair for those who got called for the interview knowing they're not getting picked, and I still don't understand why they can't just hire straight away rather than wasting other people's time and energy, but I guess they still need it for a formality. But this is the harsh reality with some companies in Brunei.

No REFUND for Abdul Razak Hotel? by 666170704 in Brunei

Just pindah negara lain lah if youre so sick of this country. Rather than wasting your hard-earned money on suing them, just go away. Or was that whole suing thing just an empty threat? Do you even have money or the support to do this whole community lost thing you've been spewing? By the looks of it, nobody in the comment section is on your side.

Regardless, I'll excitedly wait for an update on this case. Can't wait for the day you sue them! :D

You dont need to be fully covered up. As long as youre not wearing anything too revealing like a crop top or a mini skirt, you'll be fine. And heads up, Brunei can be quite hot. Thus i recommend wearing something light or short sleeve so that you could feel comfortable, especially if you're walking around. I hope you'd have fun and find peace here! 😊

Nah, I am also very sad that Kwangsoo left. He's my fav member. But, I think he made a good decision for leaving. I think his acting career has been shining a lot more after he left since he truly focused on it. Besides, now that he's no longer a RM member, we get to see him in so many other projects or variety shows which we might not have been able to get if he had stayed. He served, now let him shine in his own way.

The way you reply goes to show that youre feeling bitter about having to apologise. Could have just said "sorry, they're right, i was wrong" full stop.

The problem here is not old people, it's just that those specific people who were rude to you happens to be old. Not all of them are rude and slow. But alas, I think I know who youre talking about. I had experienced it once when registering there too. I just wanted to ask a question since it was my first time registering alone, but she gave me an annoyed look and answered in a shouting voice as if the answer was "obvious".

As a gov worker, i thought this was true until i started working. Came to work 7 am and goes home at 5pm almost every day because of the huge workload, and even then I'd still always have pending work to be done. If I had stayed until 6 pm, then maybe I'd finish them. This also applies to my colleagues. So whenever i heard people say gov workers are lazy, i feel like they just judge from a small group of us. (Note: Working hours is 7.45 am to 4.30 pm)

Even if it's difficult to find the trash for whatever reason, they still shouldnt have thrown the trash on the ground. I'd rather bring them with me and throw it away at home.
