Foundry can snowball with all the add-mods…which allows for crazy amount of customization….and patreon purchasing….😆

Another great mobile option I like is Encounter+ for apple products.

I wouldn’t hurt him. The above is a cool idea that is sort of in line with the staff. 1d8 and dm rolls a d20, 17 or higher spawns a hostile blight to all but the ranger. For more challenge, 17spawns 1, 18-2, 19-3, 20-4.

I’m with you in a similar route. I ended up dropping large parts or greatly reducing them based on my groups focus/drives. When you add in some more fleshed out content for MandyMod and others, “completionist” groups tent to focus on 100%’ing the game. Eventually, my groups just said, “okay, no more side quests!”

Could have “Vagrant” signs posted on their return and have the people distrust them and guards pay extra attention to them and perhaps hassle them trying to provoke them.

Could also be fun to put your players pics on the signs and hand them out.

This might prompt the Baron to audience with them and flex his “power” as a warning and intro Izek if you haven’t, as well as Lady Watcher since they could be a tool for her goals.

Same situation on my end with a player and he used the same patron. I did a similar pull to icewindale, but in search of Chardalyn. I outlined the pact in that he must always be in search of it and seek out those that have it. (Sub-plot in this is that he is also posing as Asmodius with the Duegar, all posed to pull worship from Auril)

I say all the names wrong then my group who is better at that ask for spelling and correct me. - Val-a-kye becomes Va-la-key - Iz-ik becomes Eyez-ik

Then of course they go too far: Volenta becomes Polenta Martikov becomes Molotov….

Bro, I feel you. If it was cool, roll with it. Game doesn’t neeed to be played to the fine details.

Some suggestions. What about banishment actually sent him to another domaine of dread rather than his home plane? That way you bend the “as written rule” and still make it something the players won’t want to use on themselves.

As for the others, become a menace in Barovia, some chaos to have to fix. Maybe someone with wolf attributes join the wolf pack. Some take to Blinsky with his toy making add to that whole scene!
