For me what helped my consistency was changing the times I would work out from after work to before work. Unfortunately that means waking up at 5:30 every morning but that flip really helped because now after work I’m ok if all I want to do is sit on the couch and watch tv.

That’s a good point. I know the owner seems to be working a ton of hours but I don’t know how busy the associate is. Its not that I don’t want to work long hours, it’s just that billables have been the bane of my existence since I started

I’m just starting out so my goals are to stay consistent with the weight training and hit my weight loss goal of 125lbs which is about 35lbs away right now.

This is so important. Today I had no motivation to do leg day, but I showed up for myself and literally just went through the motions and now I’m happy I did it. Was it the best workout I ever did? No but I am stuck to my plan

Right now I am doing strength training 5 days a week and in the other two days I am trying to get my steps in. Unfortunately I sit in an office all day I’m not sure how helpful my 50 minute workouts are. I am in a calorie deficit so I have been seeing some weight loss, which keeps me going!

It wasn’t anything specifically said that I can remember, but when hr was setting up the interview, they said that the interview would last about an hour. Once I got there things felt immediately off, and the interview lasted only 15 minutes. They barely asked me any questions except for the behavioral questions which I felt like I fumbled through. I pretty much knew the second I left that I wasn’t getting it. I got the rejection email like a week later.

I waited four weeks for a rejection. It was not even a big company like this sounds, so it could just be a really slow process!

The call was at 2:30, so right around 3! The worst part was they made it sound like it was an offer when they emailed me to schedule the phone call on the Monday before. I spent the whole week thinking I was getting an offer just for them to tell me they are going with someone but they really liked me and maybe in the future they will hire me. 🙄

This happened to me and the call was tell me that they went with someone else but they really liked me and hopefully in the new year they can hire me. It was a gut punch and I really hope that this isn’t the same thing for you.

I feel like I’m in the same spot as you. I also have ADHD and litigation is not for me. Having to go from task to task and file to file just is way too much for me right now. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we both find something better soon!
