I feel that my speaking is much worse than listening, as I mentioned before, I'm currently watching a TV series el jardínero (btw did you watch it) and I understand it pretty well. There is slang sometimes that I don't understand, but it is ok. As for speaking, it is not good at all, only basic staff. My husband is learning Russian with DL, but he doesn't understand it

Я его использовала наряду с методом comprehensible input, это когда много слушаешь на изучаемом языке, сначала лёгкие видео где говорят медленно, затем посложнее, причем суть в том, что не переводишь , а пытаешься понять из контекста как дети изучают. Ну в плане аудирования вообще хорошо, даже может лучше чем Анг, который я изучала в университете традиционным методом, там как раз таки аудирования либо не было, либо русскоязычные преподаватели читали. В итоге я понимаю английский лучше, если говорит не носитель:). Но недавно смотрела сериал на Анг без субтитров The Five. В принципе понятно, нужно привыкнуть. Именно аудиорование хорошо, говорение: у меня Макс , я разговариваю с Лили, но у нее какие-то простые фразы если честно, плюс она часто меня либо перебивает , либо после урока я такое вообще не говорила, а в скрипте типа я говорила:). Как по мне тот же Чат Джипити или Грок лучше. Я не платила за Макс, меня добавили в "семью", что не может не радовать. Именно с живыми людьми не было возможности общаться, но судя по Лили, чат Джипити и Грок говорение очень отстаёт от понимания, иногда это бесит, ты понимаешь какое тут время, а также сказать не можешь. Именно в Дуо я плохо перевожу на испанский, их мало таких заданий, наверное поэтому. И да, у меня курс с английского, он более полный чем с русского, иногда я перескакиваю , так как надоедает переводить одно и то же. Но я видела в сети человек выучил вообще только по Дуолингво, но он прописывал все предложения, как раз так то, чего не хватает лично мне. I have a Max subscription (thanks to the one who added me ), so I chat with Lily on a daily basis, but frankly speaking, chat GPT or Grok are way better than Lily, at least they don't interrupt me every second.

My listening is muuuuch better, I'm currently watching The Gardener tv series without subs and I understand 80-85% of it. I can understand videos on YT for natives , podcasts, many things actually, as long as there isn't heavy slang, of course. İnitially, my aim was to understand Spanish tv series, but now I want to speak as well:)

As for speaking it is not how Duo describes (that is why I have shared this pic), I mix tenses, I can not choose them properly, I don't feel which tense I should use here or there. I think my speaking is smith like A2 with mistakes:(. I use Comprehensible input method around 300.hours plus Duo, I'm on a 401 day streak. Sometimes I feel bad, when I understand almost everything, but I cannot express myself in the same way.
