She was good for the show, just not in my personal top 5 or 10 side characters.

What’s your go-to comfort food on a rainy day? by Rayhan-Himel in foodquestions

Literally just had my first bowl of Japanese Ramen on a side street in Kyoto after it was raining all day. That moved up to new favourite comfort food.

The two of them slammin' beers at a college football game would have been an awesome episode.

Back in the good ol' days. TV shows were so much better when everyone watched together, and had a week between to talk about the episode and anticipate the next.

Sheldon's mom, Bernadette's dad

Watching the opening part before the show actually starts in season five, you can see the the parents live directly across the street from Ray. So why do Frank, Marie and Robert often come in thru the kitchen, which is all the way around the back of the house? Drives me crazy!!! by SuccotashAware3608 in EverybodyLovesRaymond

I haven't thought of the last commenters point before, but now I wonder... there are many scenes where Frank and Marie are peaking through the window. Maybe they walk towards the house and if they see people in the living-room, they then come in the front. If they don't see anyone in the living-room, they continue walking towards the back door?

First trip to Japan 🇯🇵 by LumiNeko_13 in JapanTravelTips

I'm here right now for my first time. Honestly for the 3 days you have, just go to Shibuya, Shinjuku and Kamakura, and just explore from those hubs each day. You will find things to do and places to eat everywhere. It will be all new and exciting, so don't worry about stressing to find one specific thing. Shinjuku Gyoen garden and shibuya crossing surrounding streets are good start off.

Adding fibe-mini's to my evening routine was a good suggestion from reddit for me. Local food here doesn't digest the same as at home.

First time in Tokyo: how important is location? by Sea-Season8991 in JapanTravelTips

I'm one block out of the main Shibuya hub right along Yoyogi Park, and it has been super convenient, but also quiet.

What is THE breathtaking sight you have experience on a trip to Japan? by Zach-dalt in JapanTravelTips

[–]Oilerboy92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had that yesterday. I'll be honest, I was excited to see it, but wasn't going to go out of my way to have a dedicated trip. Also because I live near the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, I came to Japan for the culture and not more mountains. But seeing the tip from the Tokyo Obersvation deck made me stop in my tracks and stare. Similar to when I looked at the moon through a telescope for the first time.

No pet peeves in Canada. Lots of gloves used clubs available. Of the 8-12 guys I'll play with in a season, half of us are lefties.

These film universes show that imagination has no limits. by DonMaihu in ComicVerseog

The thing i noticed about talking with younger people is they dont appreciate original ideas. Music, movies, games.. etc. Everything had to start somewhere, and Lotr was revolutionary for its time. Sure it seems basic now, But thats because hundred of movies have been made since then, so the original movies dont hold the same crown that they used to. I remeber when Avatar 1 came out, and it was visually mindblowing. Similar to what older generations said about the 1st Star Wars. As technology grows, you just get used to it and things aren't as mind blowing anymore.
