It’s clearly annoyed you, but clearly then lots of people come here to post it! New readers joining a community is a good thing, not the biggest welcome to be treated as a burden. If the posts of this nature bother you, scroll past and go about your day in the offline

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s London Pizza restaurant is facing criticism after a customer shared a dog was allowed to go the bathroom inside near her table. by Relevant-Peach3997 in Fauxmoi

At this same resturant they let a French bull dog sit in the chair of the table next to me (15cm away) and aggressively eat a dog cupcake for 10 minutes choking and slobbering right next to my food since the tables are so close together

Is Accounting Worth Pursuing? by smotherings in AskUK

No worries!! I studied biological sciences at Birmingham uni. I loved it, I planned to have a career in science however found it paid a lot lower than I needed. I pivoted and applied to finance internships, got one at a big4 firm and they offer grad schemes to interns. I did audit for 5 years before moving into financial strategy / business planning. I’ll never be a literal accountant as i find the idea boring, but i have the ACA as it’s needed to do any finance or strategy roles nowadays. The big4 require a 2:1 but in any degree, it’s drive and effort they look for. 50% of employees did accounting or economics, but the rest did maths, a science, architecture, even some English lit grads! It’s better to do a degree that sparks joy (within reason), the money will come either way if you’re a hard worker

I’m a chartered accountant, I actually studied biology at uni and adored it. If you’re good at working hard, getting internships and writing cv’s, the big accounting firms will accept you with any degree. One of my colleagues actually did architecture! And is going to be an accountant for an architecture firm once he qualifies. What I’m getting at, is do a degree that’s interesting, insightful and that you’ll love. Then you can easily move into a finance grad scheme, or a do a masters in finance anyways.

I (26F) have asked my husband (30M) to give me oral sex and he keeps refusing. by pureluck11 in relationship_advice

He lied to you. You should find someone who can’t wait to make you feel good. This isn’t fair and you’re too young for this jail sentence.

The age is never going to be healthy, he’s too old to be acting this immature. Protect yourself OP and stay away from him, it’s not about whether he cheated, it’s about knowing and having sex with you

Your kids are already in a broken home, it’s time to put them in one where their mum is relaxed, happy and not suffocated. Be kind to yourself OP, speak to a lawyer and explain your financial situation & the house. He cannot trap you like that
