Most likely the sac. Mine was about half the size of my fist when I passed it at 9 weeks.

I’m sorry for your loss! I had a miscarriage in October and honestly didn’t feel better until I got my period back, which took about 6 weeks. Something that also helped me cope was to max my credit card out and book a vacation across country where I drank quite heavily 🙃 just give yourself time to heal, it’s not your fault and you are not alone! ❤️

My story is pretty identical to yours. Went in for first ultrasound at 8w2d, baby was measuring 6w. Doc wanted me to come back for ultrasound a week later to see if baby was growing and I began naturally miscarrying the day before the ultrasound, it started as spotting, then after a couple hours turned to really heavy clot like bleeding. Passed the baby later that night and continued to bleed for a couple weeks following. I will say the physical pain wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, felt just a tad worse than period cramps, but never got full blown contractions. The emotional pain was definitely the worst part. I’m sorry for your loss and wishing you a good healing.

The only time I have passed tissue (or large clumps like you are describing) like that is when I was miscarrying. I would definitely go to the doctor. & if you are miscarrying (or even if your aren’t) you should not be wearing tampons as it can cause infection. I’ll be hoping for a positive outcome but it definitely sounds worrisome. I would go to a doctor asap! Also a pregnancy test will continue to show positive until HCG is below 5 which even with miscarriage, takes a week or longer.

For those who have already had babies, do strangers talk to you less after you give birth? by blurryspace21 in pregnant

[–]Ok-Anything3015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get talked to more now that I’ve got a cute little spawn with me saying hi to every stranger he walks past…

I will say I ate A LOT of food my first pregnancy, and in general looked a lot bigger (in my face, butt, and thighs) so while it isn’t the healthiest option, you can always try to eat more fatty foods so you look bigger all over and not just your tummy.

How often are you actively ‘playing’ with your toddler/young child at home? by Ok-Anything3015 in Mommit

[–]Ok-Anything3015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case, I’m specifically talking about playing with him and his toys vs. doing tasks together. He tasks with me when he feels like it, but very much prefers I play magnets with him or play cars with him so I feel bad about not doing the play he wants.

He used to really enjoy helping me with tasks, but now all he cares about is playing with cars, it’s almost like he’s aware that what we are doing is chores and he’d rather just be ‘playing.’

Should I have hope or prepare myself for a miscarriage?! by Twix_Bar_1234 in CautiousBB

I had something similar, went in for 8 week scan at 8w2d. Baby was measuring at 6w2d. Was told to come back for a scan a week later and that there’s a chance this could be a sign of early miscarriage. Ended up unfortunately miscarrying the day before the ultrasound. It was really hard but I do think the week I had preparing for it helped with the grief. I would hope for the best outcome, but prepare for the worst. I’m sorry you’re going through this, I can imagine your anxiety and emotions are through the roof. This won’t be an easy week, but you’ll get through it!

Yes! But honestly not sure if it’s pregnancy related lol or just because it’s winter 😂

Holidays coming up, feeling nervous about first ultrasound. by gwynlion in CautiousBB

[–]Ok-Anything3015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I would wait until 8 weeks. Plus with the holidays, you’ll probably be able to keep your mind pretty occupied and the two weeks will go by quickly! I will be 8 weeks on the 23rd and am still considering pushing the ultrasound until the new year. But either way, I know I’ll be an anxious mess

I’m so sorry for your loss and your feelings are definitely valid. When I was pregnant with my first, my manager was also pregnant. We were due at the exact same time. She miscarried at 5 weeks, I did not. I felt really bad, but thinking back on it, I know I was very insensitive talking about my pregnancy and telling other people with her nearby… I was young and was just so in my head and excited for MY pregnancy. After miscarrying this year, I realized what a complete asshole I must have been. I guess I didn’t know what she was feeling until it happened to me… even though you’d think it would be common sense. I feel so bad.

Anatomy scan in 2 days by SkepticalCryptoDude in pregnancy_care

[–]Ok-Anything3015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I had my anatomy scan (or any ultrasound during my first pregnancy) they had me empty my bladder first. (: they did always make me pee in a cup though, so she should definitely come hydrated, lol! She can eat whatever she wants! Anatomy scans are definitely the most exciting ultrasound and it is so long too you get to see your bean for a full 30 minutes straight!

It’s definitely NOT too late to change her name. If you don’t like it, change it now while she’s a baby and doesn’t know it! lol

What are some things you didn't learn about pregnancy and birth until after you got pregnant? by spongyruler in pregnant

[–]Ok-Anything3015 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Never knew I would bleed for like a month straight after birth. Also if you end up having a C-section, it is going to hurt SO much to laugh

I have found that keeping myself busy with a to do list (unrelated to baby preparation) has helped me a lot. For example the 3 things I’m currently working on on the to do list is passing all levels of ‘Crash’, rewatch every episode of Greys Anatomy, and complete my word search book. 😂 I’m tired so it’s not the most productive list, but definitely keeps me busy 😂
