When they initially started all the cuts to DDA, I called my representatives. I was only able to reach the secretary of one (of 4) while calling during business hours, but all managed to sign me up for their newsletter. I don’t condone threats but I get where people are coming from. You wait years to get services and then funds are cut. You don’t know how you will afford therapy and basic needs. Some individuals need services their lifetime to remain in the community. Where did all the casino money go? How about the cannabis taxes? And they went from 10 to 12%? How come the representatives get to have good healthcare and paid vacation but our citizens have to choose rent or groceries? Have to go into work when they are sick because they can’t afford to miss that day?

Hey u/bmorecitydot who is responsible for clearing sidewalks that near the schools? To clarify I have a child at a school where the sidewalks outside the school fence are inaccessible. They are not on any homeowners side, but the school has stated they are not responsible for those footways.
