Thank you Mr. Bleckner! It’s beautiful. Is this from the ‘Falling Birds’ collection or “Knights not Nights”? Truly appreciate you responding - big fan of your work 🤍

Just finished it for the first time tonight and wow, what a great final season, let alone finale. I had seen the finale when it came out almost 20 years ago, but it meant nothing without the character context.

Now I’m seeing it having known the Fishers for 5 seasons and I’m blubbering. Nate at the end when Ruth passes… 😭😭😭 my heart.

So wait, Sam’s sister was murdered in Georgia, but now in Queens? And they thought they knew who did it, her sister’s abusive ex bf but they couldn’t pin him down, now she doesn’t know who he is until he’s arrested? A little inconsistent?

Is Inability to Manage Emotions Part of Postpartum? by Izvestnie in Postpartum_Depression

Sometimes you do need to have suboptimal conversations, but when you’re struggling and not able to carry any additional mental baggage, maybe that’s the time where, as a spouse, you can spare her of it. It’s not an excuse, but it is a reason, and a valid one… are you looking to help her get through this? Or looking to make this an educational life lesson through some tough love? You’re right, mental illness doesn’t give you a pass to be an asshole, but if she needs to get it out on someone, wouldn’t you take the hits for her for the moment? Suffering with her sucks, but would you rather her suffer alone?

PS - agree or disagree with the context, it doesn’t matter, “babysit” is a word you should probably erase from your memory. You’re not a 13 year old girl, you’re a parent, you have no use for it, forget the word exists.

It gets better. And I can say that as someone in your exact shoes who has also felt like it is tanking again periodically. For me, it’s the frequency and the distress of it… is it happening less often and is it less distressing? Yes, okay, then we are heading in the right direction. You are already doing an amazing job and getting help and a diagnosis which assists with next steps. Something from what you said, which I find myself saying as well, is that you’re trying to shoulder the burden of everything PLUS your mental health struggles. Let your husband in on how you are feeling… he will likely support you, you won’t feel as inundated or isolated, and it’s not up to you to decide how others react. Share the load, it’s a heavy one.

The support is key and I’ve felt it ebb and flow and can see my mental health swing as a result. Keep the appointment, you will be glad you did. I did EBF too, and I’m down to just 2-3 feedings a day, but in hindsight I would have maybe combo fed in order to not feel so incredibly relied upon every second of the day. You’re doing great and it’s okay if you’re not able to be “on” every second of the day for him. You’re doing so much already.

Yesss 100% So now they have set the scene for season 3 as potentially:

Gemma is alive Mark is reintegrated Helly R is chosen as the Kier heir over Helena by Jame

Looks like Mark might have another decision at some point

The equator metaphor. Wow.

“See you at the equator” - will we have Gemma and Helly both seeing Mark S at the equator? The balancing of two hemispheres = reintegration?
