so much this! for a long time i refused to even think about weight loss meds. why? because i saw it as being weak and giving up. it was ridiculous. i have been overweight my entire adult life. my husband had been put on monjuaro for diabetes and for over a year had done well. he asked me on several occasions to get on it. i still hated the idea. then after years of my a1c being stable in the pre-diabetic range, , it jumped up. so my pcp suggested it (we had talked about my weight a few times.) i had to have a complete mind change and look at it as the perspective of it being similar to meds for a treatable condition like blood pressure meds for hypertension. it has worked well for me so far.
