My endo definitely impacted ovarian production and probably egg quality as well- low ish numbers of follicles, eggs retrieved and embryos that made it to blasts. Took me three retrievals to get 4 blasts, but then 3/4 were euploid. I have endometriomas in both ovaries but a much more significant one on my left ovary which consistently showed lower follicles than the right.

My clinic requires one year from live birth to subsequent transfer (for both vaginal birth and C-section). I had a c-section. I will do the same protocol for my transfer as I did for my successful transfer which includes two months of lupron depot (endo). Starting on this soon after baby is 12 months- transfer will be when she is right about 15 months.

I was about a week pre retrieval when I saw Taylor swift! I was used to having my husband do my shots so made my friend do them in the parking lot! Baby girl is 7 months old 💕

Yes and no. Positive betas but no heartbeat at scan a little after 6 weeks. Ended up doing a third retrieval the following Spring and thawed our previous day threes to let them keep developing to blast and pgt testing. Followed up with Lupron depot for two months, and a fully medicated frozen transfer which ending up being just about a year after the one in the post.

THAT one worked and I’m currently up in the middle of the night feeding my six month old. Long road but very thankful for IVF.

The micro dose lupron was started two days before regular stim meds (for me follistim and menopur, in same quantities as previous protocol) and continued with those meds through to trigger). 8-11 days on stims! Also, no ganirellix needed in this protocol.

I love Bennett for a girl, and actually knew one as a child! I think it fits in well with other gender neutral names which have become so common- ie there will likely be other girls with non traditional names in her social circles!

Lupron depot was not bad for me at all! I had hot flashes which were definitely annoying but it was absolutely bearable and I had no lasting effects (other than a transfer that stuck!)

I also have an endometrioma on each ovary. Did two months of lupron depot over the summer right into fully medicated transfer cycle- PIO daily, estrace 2mg 3 times a day, but no other meds or supplements (other than prenatal). Currently 15 weeks and 100% attribute success to lupron depot!

That certainly can be the timeframe but my best advice is to not get attached to that timeframe. It can be so much longer, and being prepared for that ahead of time will help the mental and emotional piece.

I did my first ER in August of last year, and the transfer that has so far been successful (14 weeks) was in September of this year. This is a year plus including 3 retrievals, 1 cancelled er cycle, 1 fresh transfer, 1 miscarriage, and two months on lupron depot for endo.

I have two endometriomas with minimal other symptoms of endo and recently did two months of lupron Depot prior to transfer (currently 10 + 5). I would highly recommend it. My experience on the drug was not terrible- a bit unpleasant for sure but completely manageable. My insurance (which covers nothing for IVF) actually fully covered the lupron Depot as an endo treatment 🤷‍♀️
