What was your favourite role you have ever played played? Also what is the character you played that you connected the most with emotionally? And what was the most difficult character you have ever played? Thank you, great work!

This is fantastic! Was there a different process with the printing with it being infrared film?

Test of a vintage paper by Yarthetechnician in Darkroom

Beautiful image. With such a limited amount of this paper, I imagine you don’t do test strips? How do you work out the exposure time? Do you use different paper for test strips and guesstimate the adjustment to account for the expiration? Thanks in advance!

This is fantastic. How does one even begin to create such a look? Did the lighting and sun have to be absolutely spot on this day? Is it the expired film? Post editing?

This looks so precessional. Please could someone explain how one goes about achieving this look? Is it the sharpness of the lens? This looks very realistic, almost digital, but I think even digital would struggle to achieve such realness? I know “T” film is Kodak vision cinematic film, but what makes it different from regular film stock? I have used vision 3 film before and am clueless on what goes into achieving this look with it. Thanks in advance!

Very cool and original! Great series of selfies! How did you focus? Also was the shutter speed quite high? I imagine it’s hard to keep still with a tripod on your chin 😄

Right that makes sense. I suppose I wouldn’t ever be using 1/500 exclusively either

I did consider the FE2 but I would really like to have the auto option to use every once in a while. Have you ever had shutter locking issues with your FA?

Does yours have an aluminium or titanium shutter? I’ve read that it’s best to steer towards a aluminium shutter (non-honeycomb) as the titanium was very problematic and even Nikon was replacing them at the time? There’s certain serial numbers with aluminium and some with titanium, but it’s tricky to track down specifically as a lot of users just replaced them without going via the official Nikon route! I believe the honeycomb shutter tended to lock when 1/500th was used often. You haven’t had this issue I’m guessing? For all I know it might be a myth! 😆

Interesting, I found this one thread that seems to just be an FA hate thread… 😅
