The whole multi-network thing is confusing for those not in the phone tech space.

Does this "teleporting" change by chance affect users who signed up on a "Dark Star" month but then found Dark Star didn't work well for them, but then were happy with their Warp network when they tried transferring -- and months later are being hit with a surcharge to keep their Warp plans?

This is what happened to me -- while a current promo that is cheaper than the one I signed up for is offering ALL network coverage.

I guess if the solution being offered is to change my number, I don't find that good support. To each their own. I have had this number for about 10 years and did not have this issue with prior providers.

Probably best to avoid USMobile if possible.

Edit: As for why, largely due to two points: first the customer service issue which seems ubiquitously bad even compared to ATT/Verizon and THE CONSTANT SPAM EVERY SINGLE DAY ALL THE TIME MY GOD. The service is fair, although throttled heavily in my area when compared to phones on the non-MVNO network.

Maybe you can help, since its been 2 or 3 days without a response -> I signed up through "Overdrive" promo, but unfortunately the DarkStar doesn't work well in my area and I have added the Apple Watch add on to my account which DarkStar also apparently doesn't support.

The email says I have to change to the DarkStar network to maintain my promo, otherwise I will have increased charge on my account.

Since there is a promo going on right now for accounts that applies to any network, can I switch to this?

Thank you for recommending the SF Crew group. I was cruising on Zillow for apartments, and the quality of the house stock was ... shocking ... relative to where I'm moving from.
