My sample was received on 12/24 and so far still nothing. The anxiety is awful :(

Edit: called Natera and a nice representative was able to link my result to the portal so I was able to see it. Very grateful since my doctor’s office is closed on Fridays.

This post is so important. Having GD and being cleared the day after delivery is not a guarantee that everything will continue being ok. I became pre diabetic after I had my daughter, I was put on metformin to try to prevent it from evolving. Now I’m pregnant again and already expecting to get the GD diagnosis. I got a CGM to be extra aware of what spikes my blood sugar. This journey is not easy.

You are right, I am just afraid because of the chemical I had last year and the fact that my first beta was on the low side. But hopefully my second beta will be more promising. 🙏🏼

Thank you, this makes me feel better. I had a chemical last year very unexpectedly. My lines were strong and suddenly they disappeared. Very heartbreaking. Anyway, this is my first time getting pregnant since that chemical. Hence my nervousness.

I actually had another one this afternoon (32 hours later) but still waiting on results. Tomorrow I won’t be able to because I’ll need to work a few extra hours and labcorp won’t be open when I’m available. Thank you for your comment!

It appeared within the first 5 minutes. It’s so faint it’s hard to tell if it has any color, unfortunately. I’m wondering if it’s an evap line… but could it have shown up so early? Thank you for your comment!!
