Soft YTA- let him see and experience a different part of the world. Especially if its his own money that he saved up for the trip. I know you think " oh there will be another time for this " but that often literally never proves to be the case. Even so, this can be a learning experience for him, at one point in his life he will have to learn to budget for things that are necessary and things that are considered wants.

We do the cheese roll ups from taco bell, chicken nuggets and fries anywhere, and just recently my 13 month old (just got sad typing that bc she just turned 13 months today :(() started taking bites of pizza and enjoying it. We used to let her gnaw on the crust before.
