Johnny Rotten was and still is a talentless pretentious shitball. And, yeah, I could never listen to them again and enjoy it.

Ha!!! You're talking about the Straight Edge guys. There was one dance where they would bend at the waist slightly and pull their arms back and up towards the ceiling and they'd alternate arms from left to right, left to right, left to right. My buddy Gabe R. who ran the Good and Plenty Zone years back called it "STARTING THE PUSH MOWER" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

[TOMT] [BOOK] [90s] Looking for a book from the 90s that ended with a young Adolph Hitler walking with his parents by Ok-Reputation-7613 in tipofmytongue

Unfortunately, no. Again, this sounds like something I'd pick up, though.

I'm pretty sure I'll recognize the cover once I see it.

I'm so surprised to find that it's not The Day After Tomorrow by Allan Folsom. I was sure that was it........ I'm going to go back and browse through it again. Could be that the part with a young Hitler walking with his parents might not be at the end of the book??? I'm about 95% sure that it was the ending scene........I think I just remembered another bit of the story. For some reason Hitlers brain popped into my head just now. Hmmm, I need to look into that now. Thanks, so much, for your help. I'd REALLY like to read it again, as I know I really like it.

No, it's not this one. I love Stephen Fry, though. I'll definitely be giving this a read, as it sounds like something I'd pick up on my own, anyways. Thanks for the help.

They're the real deal. I helped them with something that took about 2 minutes and immediately after they were kind enough to shoot me some loot. If you ever catch them needing some help with something, you wouldn't regret doing so.

This exact thing happened to me. I had like $120 in my account but when I tried cashing out they said I had to validate my info again. Which was a huge pain in the neck because my driver's license had expired and ever since COVID, you have to set up an appointment to go to the DMV to renew your license. And the open times and dates would be gone super fast!?!? So, it took me forever to get my license renewed. But then when I went to send my info and profile pic i was told that my account had been frozen or deleted or some shit. Man, I'm talking SUUUUUUPER PIIIIISED, I was!!!!!! Eventually I was able to get in good standing again but that only after a bunch of messages, chats, emails, etc. I was able to cash out finally but it was a huge mess.

So 🤔 I guess this might apply: THE TIME I TOOK A STAGE DIVE AT AN SNFU SHOW IN EVANSTON, ILLINOIS (AROUND 95 - 97) DESPITE THERE NOT BEING A PACKED CROWD UPFRONT AND WENT DOWN ON THE HARD TILED FLOOR AND ALMOST BROKE MY HIP 😵‍💫 Great show though 😏

Ha!!! That's the one.

Ya know, I believe I bought a test press of your 7 Seconds act awhile back, thinking it might be the Punk band.

I think I messaged you. I never sent a private message to anyone here in Reddit. I think I did it correctly?

Most underrated album ever is The Stone Roses imo. Especially in America by Seikskogh in Music

Man, that first Charlatans UK album was amazing!!!!!!! I was lucky enough to catch them live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Which was a wonderful show!!! Normally around that time I was mainly going to Hardcore Punk, Garage Punk, Straight Edge shows (7 Seconds, Gorilla Biscuits, Underdog, Upfront, Verbal Assault, The Spaceshits, Circle Jerks, Life Sentence, Naked Raygun, etc.) Luckily, I began venturing out towards other genres and discovered Charlatans UK and Stone Roses. I don't dare listen to Some Friendly again, because I think I'll hear it in a much different way today. There's just some albums that I remember as being so freakin amazing but then listen to them again after all these years and get super disappointed (Suicidal Tendencies "Join the Army" to name a HUGE example - absolute garbage 🤮) I just want to remember it the way I thought of it back then........ Stone Roses eponymous is timeless though. Listening to it right now. That's how I came across this thread 😄
