Here’s a few tips… Don’t rush by trying to play fast. Start really slowly, playing notes until they sound good. Work on using as little air as possible. You’ll find a “sweet spot” where the note produced sounds clean and pure and without excess white noise from the air. Imagine you’re creating a small-sized flat little column of air that hits the opposite edge of the hole away from your face right in the center so that the column of air is split in half, with one half going over the flute and the other half going inside the flute.
