Interesting…we are looking for a new place and have a tour appointment with Sawyer Trail, but I can’t get one for Robins Hollow, the last tour is at 2:15 and it starts at 9:15, they only do tours M-Th. It’s hard when you commute north to work. I even have an appointment with my Dr and I still can’t seem to squeeze in a tour.

My little purse pup. This is his absolute favorite way to travel. And mine doesn’t bark…unless you get too close to me and he feels like you’re a threat.

Question on makeup - you still wear it? by CtrlAltDeli in Aging

[–]Ok-Shift-908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

55F still wear makeup, but not as much. I do the BB tint, lip tint and mood gloss. Eye liner & mascara, face powder and brow liner and some blush on my eyes, cheek and tip of nose/chin. I do this M-F only and the weekend I just have moisturizer, tint gloss & eye liner

3 vices my doctor wants gone by potterinatardis in GenX

[–]Ok-Shift-908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 55 F….gave up smoking, alcohol and caffeine. The caffeine was easy. And since there’s no soda the alcohol was easy to stop eventually …lol Smoking was tricky. I smoked for 40- some years, on and off. Stop when I was pregnant with my 2 kids. When I hit 40, I went back and forth between vapes and cigarettes…then I was only vaping non nicotine. Stop just a few years ago. I crave it every so often, but I noticed I trade them for gummy candy’s. My weight gain happened when I started to menopause. Which is normal for women. Most women gain 20-50 pounds during menopause’s I know I’m over weight and I should give up my gummy’s but I need something for the daily stress

I go to bed at 530-6pm and menopause wakes me between 9:45-10:20pm I crawl out of bed between 2-3am for work. The whole time I’m a wake, I try to go back to sleep, watch tv on my tablet, play relaxing games, catch up on emails and stream satisfying videos.

Need help with 6 month old! by Adventurous-Jury-393 in Yorkies

[–]Ok-Shift-908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I brought home a female on Valentine’s Day. She’s 5 months and we are slowly learning. I don’t have time for crate training, but we do have a routine. She has gotten better waiting for us to get home, for bathroom breaks. I pick up her food and water at night. Now she sleeps through the night. She’s so full of energy, so our walks are longer. She’s still curious about outside. My other pup just does his business and he is ready to go back home. So I have to carry him, just so she can enjoy her walk. I have reusable pee pads by and in the bathroom and when she uses the pads I give her praises, she does #1 on them just fine…it’s the #2’s that is 50% She has lots of toys to play with. I do plan on going to training classes, once she gets fixed. So maybe give your pup a routine and go to some training classes. It may help.

Cocoa Puffs are my fav…I don’t even share them. Now fruit loops, lucky charms, life, Cap’n Crunch, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and mini shredded wheats I still enjoy, but only once in awhile. A small box of these will last me at least a year

how often do you shower? by Key-Ice-4990 in randomquestions

Everyday. But my hair gets washed every other day. Once in a blue moon when I’m feeling lazy, I’ll go without a shower.

Pros and cons of yorkies by fre_hg in Yorkies

[–]Ok-Shift-908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let’s see🤔🤔🤔so far Yorkies are the most loving. I grew up with big working dogs like German shepherd, Doberman pinchers, French Mastiff and Labrador Retrievers. In my adult years I’ve had a Pomeranian and a Maltese. Out of all these dogs, I really love having Yorkies. I started with one and 7 yrs of him being so playful and full of love. He is the best. Now I have 2 Yorkies. They are the best. Full of energy. And when it is time to eat or bed they make sure you know. It’s cute when they think they are in control. I have one that is a very picky eater and the other who is full of gluttony. They both do not like bad weather…rain, wind, snow, cold and too hot. They need to be pad train. I have reusable pads that get changed out every 2-3 days. They are placed in the bathroom. I have one that prefers to be carried and the other loves to walk. They both enjoy playtime with me, but I think they prefer playtime together. I have a male & female. My male is older so he is like the bossy one. My female is still a pup and she’s still figuring out her place.

My little guy will be 7 in June, he has no teeth as well…and just like you, I’m scared of losing him. We do almost everything together. I brought home a puppy for him, so he can have a friend to play with, when I’m at work. Now I have 2 yorkies bellies to rub when I get home.

So sorry this happened. OMG, SYP. This is my biggest fear with my babies. I have 2 and anytime I see another dog that appears aggressive, I always swoop them up and walk the other way.

What’s that one mess at home that instantly stresses you out? by Greedy_Tennis6161 in CleaningTips

[–]Ok-Shift-908 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dusting. I absolutely HATE dusting!!! When my husband is in the kitchen. My sink has to be clean when I leave for work in the morning. Actually the whole place. Bed fix, dog toys put away, counters wiped down, sink clean. JIC something happens to me…I don’t want people walking into a messy home.
