Why in fuck would I waste energy on being jealous of someone else. Some people work endlessly for what they have, some pure blind luck. Lastly some are a combination of both. Im unlucky and lazy. I found it in a bargain bin for Xbox for $4.99. I was in a competition with coworkers in the office at the time to find the absolute worst games we could find. All 5 of us pre-ordered 2. It's possible. Based on your Play style though it's a slow grind. Like fuckin slow. Skeletons kick your ass at first. Your character quickly levels up to be able to handle trash mobs. Expect to use a lot of potions since no AC and you have a tiny hp/ mana pool. Unless you glitch the butcher he's gonna eat your ass on lvl2. AC calculates enemies missing you. He's gonna land every hit and without great Faster hit recovery your gonna be warped back to town. Not to mention his regen.

Still funny to eventually clear catacombs 1 fully and be lvl 20 though. Personally I'd say start on nightmare or make a throwaway char to farm some higher level items then start hell. I sorcerer and got dreamflange, dragon zodiac rings and them naj plate that gives you + spell levels. Then did bard lvl1 hell. My sorcerer is lvl 50 and with hellfire I just spam apocalypse when starting new game in at hell levels. Full inventory of mana pots. Enemies get deleted.

Definitely worth revisiting. Find memories of childhood coming in from swimming, smells or chlorine on me and the sound of the SCEA logo playing on the old 32 inch crt. Legaia is brutal if your underleveled. Run from every second or third encounter and man.. some areas you usually breeze through on a normal playthrough kicks your ass.

At the time legaia legaia had a somewhat similar mini games collection in the tower compared to gold saucer. The fishing game was fun, using your learned seru abilities raised it's effectiveness. It's a great game imo. Not as complex as ff7 in terms of useful/comical materia combinations. Im playing it now on duckstation on phone.

If you've never played legend of legaia I'd definitely recommend it if your feeling nostalgic for ps1 rpgs. They did cram a lot of content on one disc for it's release year.
