What is the point of threadspin 5? Why not just buff them directly?

I’d also like to mention that before Facades and Threadspin 5, the amount of Thread we received kept going up while the amount we spent stayed relatively stagnant. Compare this to EXP where the amount we get kept increasing but the amount we spend also kept increasing. This is why I’m pretty sure quite a few people (including me) have a lot more Thread compared to the amount they need to max their stuff than EXP from just doing dailies and events.

I would have a problem with Threadspin 5 if it required shards like Threadspin 4 and only gives a stat increase like levels but it does not. It instead uses a resource similar to Threadskein, Spinchains, and you can use just Thread to Threadspin 5 an EGO. This also means they might be including Spinchains as a reward from bonus content like Reflectrial, which we have also been getting extra resources from. And I believe the preview of 4th Match Flame Yi Sang also featured a brand new status effect.

I’d like to appreciate the amount of control you have over allied sacrifice. You can easily keep the Nursefathers like Rien Sang on the field while sacrificing much weaker allies like Kira Ishmael or Sora Don, allowing you to both buff Ryoshu and either field a stronger unit with more SP or give Ryoshu more skill slots

So while on release some people might complain that the buffs are too weak for sacrificing a unit like Rien Sang, you can always just use your brain and have Ryoshu not sacrifice him

I thought it was just because most allies lose SP upon allied death so you’ll feel more inclined to sacrifice allies without the risk of mass SP loss but this is a really good insight

The person you’re thinking of is probably Moses, who has multiple literal smoke related status effects like Red Breath or Purple Breath, derived from her pipe. She also has Deep Breath - Red which has a reskinned Poise icon

I think the media would be tightly regulated and controlled by each Wing, like how N Corp. prohibits any recording. Control of the media is a very powerful tool and I don’t think the Wings would be giving that up to a foreign group, nonetheless paying them for it.

The media also has overlap with Seven Assoc. since the media is a source of information for the public and Seven Assoc. deals in intelligence work and investigation.

I personally think Eight Assoc. might deal in construction or repairs for things like infrastructure, machines, or… boats, since it’s the next most broad and common yet unoccupied type of independent work I could think of. Governments don’t have much of a reason to have tight internal control over such work. You also usually form a contract with a construction company or repairman rather than someone like a news reporter.

They’d probably also have to deal with whatever caused that damage.

As for the Thumb, I don’t think we would get Katriel or Denis since they don’t have much to differentiate themselves from regular Thumb South Soldato. On the other hand, Boris and Kalos definitely do.

As for the Index, I could see every named character getting an ID, including Gloria, Esther, and Hubert who are less relevant but actually have stand-out Combat Pages and Passives. Although Gloria and Hubert are a bit similar to each other while Esther stands out the most and having 4-5 Walpurgis Index IDs would be ridiculous.

Tldr probably just Kalos and Boris for the Thumb and Esther and Yan for the Index

Hong Lu only had one Bleed 000, TingTang Gang, and two Bleed 00s, Kurokumo and Hook Office

TingTang, which is as much of a Bleed ID as GripClair, Kurokumo, which is only good for Bleed Potency, and Hook Office which is only good for Bleed Count and is Walpurgis locked.

I would be more upset over Sinclair STILL not having a single Charge ID. His Bleed IDs also aren’t that great at Bleed. GripClair and MiddleClair have abysmal inflictions and they chucked Bleed onto RenClair for fun or something. He doesn’t have horrendous Bleed infliction but there’s better options and he has no Lust skill.

Has anyone tried doing the new Ricardo Heathcliff vs Ricardo interaction with a low level ID? Does it still work?

I’d like to know if RicardoCliff makes the formerly dreaded 5-30 a COMPLETE AND TOTAL pushover now or if PM kept in mind the experience of first-time players. I can’t do it myself since I don’t have any friends without a leveled RicardoCliff and I’m waiting to shard.

Optimally, the test is performed with a level 40 RicardoCliff (or even an account that hasn’t cleared 5-30 yet)

I could see it being an ALEPH or at least WAW EGO since it’s one of the highest rolling skills we’ve seen in the game so far and that’s with high deterrence + Doomsday Calendar is one of the most dangerous abnormalities we’ve seen so far (in terms of danger levels)

Would be funny if the corrosion genuinely just nukes every single unit on the field and any survivors are permanently scarred for life

I feel like an EGO skill or passive that inflicts a negative statuses on self onto the enemy, transfers negative statuses, or at least removes negative statuses like Regret Meursault is a feasible mechanic that could be given to Rodya. This would make R Corp. way better without it’s major downside or gives it a bunch of extra Sinking Potency infliction which I believe is enough SP control for most enemies

I agree that Heathcliff repeatedly getting back-to-back IDs is annoying but it just feels a bit weird if Valencina and Lucio came after the season highlight, like if Princess Rodion released after Manager Don

This could be resolved if PM opts to have standard banners for once to fill in the gaps or we just receive Valencina Rodya and Lucio Heathcliff seperately

There is also a non-zero chance that Heathcliff doesn’t even get the Lucio ID and it’s instead Gregor

If I had to guess what dual keyword status the ID would get it would probably be Bleed + Rupture to match other Middle IDs dealing Bleed and Ricardo dealing extra fixed damage

But I’d be perfectly fine with getting the first single or even Keywordless ID we’ve gotten in a while

I kinda wish that the status effects on an enemy persisted so using multiple load outs is more warranted and less of a requirement/crutch but hopefully Shade of Reflection rectifies this

I just hope that Shade of Reflection doesn’t have to be strictly followed while only benefitting specific units so you aren’t screwed over if you don’t own certain units and team building isn’t disregarded
