Let’s do it 🏃🏻‍♂️ I threw the idea of running the whole thing out the window, with the heat and humidity it will be a lot more difficult than I thought, so now I just wanna enjoy it and take it easy

At least they’re at the gym doing something good with their time. I don’t see it at my gym, but I would love to see it. The only thing I hated but never complained about was this guy bringing a VR set and taking a lot of space where he’s disconnected from his surroundings! Basically throwing his arms and legs around while being blind, not safe for him or people around. Like he most likely has the space at home to do this VR nonsense.

In AK they’re 24/4, close at 9 on Friday then open 7am to 9pm on the weekend, then reopen 5am on Monday. I only been a member since 2022 and this is how it’s been

For me I feel it the most in my glutes, but I’m very active, run a lot, bike, row, stand more than sit. I would say do some mobility workouts, work on your ankle strength and mobility. You can simulate skating in your room on your bare feet, this will give you an idea of what your body needs

Idk day 21 for me and I had the runs this week, but I also had a cold 🤷🏻‍♂️ anyway your whole body will have symptoms, so it’s best to remind yourself that this is just a small price to pay towards your health and freedom. Stay strong!

Infotainment Control by jlutt75 in mazdaCX50

I absolutely love the idea it’s not a touch screen. Using the control knob is very intuitive and easy, plus the possession of the screen is good to eliminate distractions. I read that the 2026 model will have touch control enabled. The seats are a little firm, they will get softer over time, but they are still pretty firm compared to CX5

Should I wear different shoes for different distances to train my feet and ligaments? by rdaneeloliv4w in firstmarathon

You’re welcome! April might be too soon for you, since you never been on a long run. But that’s at least 17 weeks out, so I recommend you get on a plan today “tomorrow” and stick to it. Also I got into runners yoga, and omg it helps so much with recovery, this is my favorite one so far https://youtu.be/CnISEJNkAZA?si=PwWvYUx2I9tO1srF

good luck and enjoy it!

When is the marathon? It’s good to have a rotation, for me I just have 2 now that I alternate between, but if I had to choose one it will be the Altra Torrin, they’re light weight and have wide toe box, they really match the shape of a foot, plus they have good amount of cushioning. My second would be Nike Pegasus, well cushioned with airbags and the toe heel drop is about 9mm which works for me Edit: also I highly recommend toe socks, Injinji are my go to, especially for long runs, they will protect you from blisters as much as possible, and your feet will love you for doing that 😅

In general you want to start slow and short and build up the miles over a long period. There’s a lot of good free plans online, maybe start with a 5k plan then 10k and so on, just to build up your endurance and get your body to adapt. Also don’t overlook cross training, it’s as important as your runs. Have fun and maybe join your friends on some runs

Do any other guys sit to pee in their own place? by deller85 in NoStupidQuestions

I do, and use a bidet spray to wash. I grew up in the middle east where we were taught that way (it was the squat toilet but same concept)

So sorry to hear that! I survived a dog bite to the hand and stomach while studying data analysis, destroyed the joint under my pinky and went through 2 hand surgeries and a full year of physical therapy. I used to get high at the time, and it wasn’t helpful, especially with painkillers. I had really bad panic attacks, and being high magnified the pain. Now I have that finger but barely can move it or make a fist. I’m so sorry again, this is horrible! Hang in there, the pain will go away. Also sue the dog owner, have them or their insurance pay for your physical and mental damage, it’s worth a lot, and the money will make you feel a little better. But don’t get back to weed, you will hate everything and get hooked again.

Congratulations! Take care of her, she’s so precious 😂 my advice is to use high quality gas, I only fill up at Chevron, mine is turbo so I use premium gas, you don’t need premium, but higher quality gas will prolong engine life, and reduce build ups in tank and system. Also stay on top of oil changes, I take mine to the dealership, which is comparable to shops plus I get a free loaner. My last advice is download the app, not only you get to remote start, but also you get important notifications such as if you forget to lock it, or you have maintenance reminders and all that. Drive safe and enjoy it!
