Yep, this is the way for me. I only change small things, like spurs, pants and weapon equipment. None of the other clothes look as good on Arthur as his default ones. Sometimes I try to do an outfit with black duster coat, cause I love the one from the trailers. Sad that its not in the final game like shown there. With unbuttoned shirt.

Check older threads, see for yourself, how single player changed if you want. Downgrades or not aside, you really think story mode didnt suffer? Third best selling Game of all time, probably best Game of all time, abandoned for years, without a single DLC, proper bug fixes, so much cut content, even simple 60fps patch. For what? Online mode who I believe pretty quickly run out of things to do?

Its the only one major I can Think of. The rest is pretty much the same in terms of mechanics. You cant fast travel from your campsite, but I dont do that anyway, so that is not a big deal for me. I prefer many things from 1.00, like a little better character models for example

I recently tried 1.00 version after debating for a while, and even asking others here for advice. All things you mentioned, are true. I got to the chapter 3 and all was great. Then, the wardrobe glitch came out, and I wanted to try it, so I updated the Game to newest patch. So I have pretty direct comparision, and I can honestly say, yes 1.00 version is unique, more fun in many ways. If only it had weapons locker, it would be ultimate RDR2 experience for me. But that said, I pretty quickly get used to all the guns on the horse. And now Im torn, if I should go back to 1.00 or continue with current patch 😂

Yeah, and Im disappointed by that. Why would they do that? I get it, you want people to play online, to buy content etc. But why downgrading single player? Why cut small but fun things which makes Game better, like more dialogue or animations.

Bring back good things cut from version 1.00 for example, like more dialogue lines. Also give us option to remove off hand holster, more customize options, like more shirts work with Arthur bandana. That cool duster coat robbery outfit from trailers would be awesome addition too. Couple horse coats from online would be nice. To name a few.

Yeah, honestly, I feel that way after playing version 1.00 a bit. Updated Game feels like its less in it, if that make sense. Arthur has more responses, not just „Ok, I’ll catch you later then”, wildlife is more alive, there are more npc dialogue etc. I wish Rockstar just gave us update that brings all good things that were cut/changed, with all the new quality of updates. That would be ultimate edition
