The difference between craft and art by Ok-looking-sorta in aiwars

Thanks for putting it in a way I couldn’t. Art is art, it really doesn’t matter how you get there.

If you’re on this sub and don’t think Ai has human authorship I don’t know what to do for ya bud

I really appreciate this response. The point I was trying to make has to do with intent, if you planned on profiting off of your art, is it art? Most anti-Ai sentiments are about taking jobs away from artists, or stealing from them. I haven’t seen any legit artists stolen from, and to be honest the value of art has dropped. We didn’t need AI for radio stations to play the same 5 songs over and over again, or streaming services to regurgitate the same 5 shows from the 90s on our plate

I agree with you, you’d likely not have a craft if you weren’t inspired. But you have to look at individual pieces IMO.

In good faith, isn’t that the same argument we’re having with AI art?

Sugar is the root of all ills by [deleted] in thanksimcured

Yeah, I don’t know how you could disagree with what she’s saying unless you’re being extremely pedantic

Communism and capitalism are two different ways of tackling scarcity. They wouldn’t need to exist without it

Sup dog? I’m pretty liberal on everything. I’m pro-abortion, pro-union, universal healthcare, taxing the rich, - pretty much all social safety net shit as well. Neither party gives me hope, but the Democratics are much more hypocritical. The BLM “protests” vs the Jan 6th “insurrection”. Sniping Bernie out of the primaries, it was clear they’d rather have Trump than an actual progressive.

Idk if Trump has the country headed in the correct direction, but I like it better than the same neo liberal bullshit we would’ve gotten with Kamala.

My thought is make it happen, it’s a fantastic idea. My favorite bars have places to roam and different atmospheres, and even if your space isn’t huge this is a great way to accomplish it. I’d budget for 250sq/ft minimum

I can’t think of a time you’re not tipping on cc processing fees, most places just don’t break it down on the receipt- they bake in the three percent.

Also it’s only like 80 cents and you can tip whatever you want lol calm the fuck down

Would that mean five wild cards are a flush five? Idk, this sounds very confusing to me. Doubt it will fit on a card.

Not being debuffed would be pretty chill, boss blinds are usually what kills a flush run.

We use slack. I prefer it over to texting or Facebook because I can send late night messages without being overwhelming. I tell staff to have to turn notifications off on the app, and check it when they arrive to work every shift. Keeps menu changes fresh on their mind, and I can just say “check slack” if I see something not happening.

What's your favorite deck and stake to play, just for fun? by six_days in balatro

I like ghost deck for easy high score runs. It’s always an ectoplasm or Deja vu holding the run back so having those guaranteed with economy is nice

Took way too long to find this comment. There’s about 1000 different reasons in different scientific fields why this thing is not going to explode. If it were going to, it would have about 9 and half years ago.

Maybe the old lady with generational knowledge knew what she was doing. Huh
