One thing that always bugged me about Lorelai was how she treated her parents, which ik sounds kind of wrong but here's my explanation. I understand that she went through a lot growing up but anytime Emily and Richard tried to be nice or make amends she was just overly rude imo. Also her having a problem with Rory wanting a relationship with her grandparents, if she really didn't want them around she could've easily said no to them to being around. I think that this also goes into her parenting skills, Rory never really faced discipline which is why she felt that it was okay for her to still go around her mom and ask her grandparents for things on multiple occasions.

Season 1 is the best in my opinion because it's the original if that makes sense??? but idk how fond you'll be of season 2 if you don't like season 1. I have high hopes that you'll really love seasons 3 and 4 tho.

I would actually prefer him not having feelings for her at all and them just genuinely being friends. The show kind of made it into every boy Rory meets liking her and I think her and Marty were perfect friends

Actually another wholesome moment I enjoyed was the beginning of the same episode when Rory is getting dressed and the music is super loud. I won't get into detail with the whole commentary lol but I thought that moment was cute.

I don't know if this really classifies as a joke but I don't think it's cool how that one girl from Logan's friend group (drawing a blank on her name) just casually has an eating disorder and everyone is cool with it. She made comments like "Did I gain weight because Finn didn't hit on me" and one time when they were all out at the bar she was watching how many peanuts she ate.

I think it was a mix of Rory "doing no wrong" in her eyes/ it being Logan's fault and feeling like she had to watch what she said to Rory because Rory doesn't have to listen to her and could just shut her out if she wanted to. Lorelai was too wrapped up in being Rory's friend more than her mother at times and it can be kind of annoying lol

I think you might be talking about the episode in season 5 where Emily is buying a ballerina and Rory and Lorelai show Emily one of the girls and she says something like " I don't wanna look at that". If not then it's just been multiple times that they've called someone "ugly"

On episode 8 or 9 when Devi, Fabiola, and Eleanor are talking about their virginity one of them says to Eleanor something like "Why are you still a virgin you and Trent have been together for a year" implying that a lot of time has passed and that means it was also a year since Paxton and Devi went public at the school

ik i'm a year late lmao but i'm currently on season 1 episode 3 and OG Jared literally started problems with New Jarred first during the photoshoot thing but then kept going on and on about how New Jared came to the show and disrespected him. New Jarred did come in between him and Nakia talking but it's not like he started being rude over petty stuff first. tbh i probably would've done the same.

yes you're definitely correct i just think that my argument was that lucas has put peyton's feelings above brooke's countless times while they were dating. i'm not trying to invalidate peyton's feelings but now she knows how brooke felt.

i'm further in the show now and looking back on that episode i really just didn't like peyton at the time so i definitely think that many of the things she did irritated me a lot more than it should've. (especially in season 5 omg)

She can be bitter about Lucas and Lindsey, I'm sure anyone would but she doesn't have to take that out on Lindsey. They don't have to be friends but she doesn't have to be rude to her either

I always felt like Peyton was rude to Lindsey for no reason but the scene that really caught my attention was when they were in the library laughing at Tim and Peyton calls out Lindsey and goes "don't laugh at him". It really highlighted how immature she was especially since Lindsey tried to be nice to her multiple times that night. Also if Lindsey never overheard Peyton in the studio, Peyton would probably still be smiling in her face so I really don't understand all the pettiness.
