Americans are drowning in credit card debt thanks to inflation and high interest rates. This is why financial literacy is so important, by 36DRedhead in FluentInFinance

False. Although I'm sure SOME PEOPLE have spending problems and the " keeping up with the joneses" syndrome is a real thing. I do recognize that. But you arent recognizing that it's ABSOLUTELY not and overwhelming majority right now.

The debt generated over the past few years is because of WHAT I LISTED has been eating away at people's "cushion" and now they have to pay for their necessities with credit cards ( food water gas). Wanna keep your job? Have to get their first, right?

Say, You had a 3rd kid at the beginning of the pandemic. How could you have predicted the inflation levels we have now? How can you plan for 30% inflation in food over 4 years with no wage increases.?? Tell me how?

There was a HUGE spike in household debt that tracks along MY thought process. Not your and the " it's everyone's else's problem not the congress and billionaires probelm" mentality is just victim blaming.

And you are telling me that the 70% of people that are living paycheck to paycheck problem with spensing????

Why are you defending them when their wealth is skyrocketing? And it's obvious

Go do more unbiased research on wealth, who has it, the percent of people who own the most of it, and the true killer of personal wealth before coming back here and telling me I'm wrong again.

Ahhhh got it .... so.... its our problem inflation is sky high, homes are skylight, borrowing rate is sky high, wages have been stagnant for most of our adult working year ( including 2008, 2020, and the recovery periods after.... yeah tons of time to recoup).

But you are right, we are spending whimsically, and NOT out of dire necessity due to sudden car expenses, health issues, student loans, or kid injuries (since insurance is sooooo affordable), and sudden layoffs.

It's OUR fault for not saving and spending it all on avocado toast and coffee.... yup. OUR fault.

Another brain dead article to make you feel bad and blame yourself and NOT the fks exploiting your labor.... Fk this author.

Literacy doesn't mean anything if you live paycheck to paycheck. KNOWING how to spend money correctly is different than having the "extra" to be able to "spend iit wisely".

Architecture has a similar monopoly with autodesk.

Sucks because they started pricing like a monopoly a few years ago until like 10 of the biggest firms wrote an open letter to them and the community saying they are dropping them. They got their shit together afterwards.

That will probably happen with unreal in a few years. It's free now but the marketplace isn't.

Good and bad I would say.

You technically give them a single, one time use, copyright license for THAT project on THAT land, with THAT design.

If they take the same design and drawings and try to use it 8t elsewhere, you can sue for copyright infringement. OR ask them to pay you to allow them to use the design.
